well see i don't kno other emo kids...other than myspace and such...but i kno loads of ppl who cut...and only about a handful could be considered emo. some are punk or goth of course...but a few are preppy kids, o i knew one who was like a major gangter kid :/
it's just yea, i kno most ppl group emo and cutting together...but that's not how it is im most cases

1] no...not technically. and anyways just cuz someone cuts vertical doesn't mean they want to die. and i kno a guy who had 3 huge cuts like that on his forearm...he's still here. and i was just saying it's an angle thing...across is easier

Um, not everyone. For pleasure? It's more like an attempt to relieve stress and mental pain. Of course, they usually wind up getting more of both.

some ppl that cut do it as a punishment cuz they think they're horrible ppl...even when they're not
others do it cuz they just like pain, some like the look of blood :/
and yes some do it as an attempted suicide or suicide
and of course...the ppl who do it for attention
