Another one bites the dust.
Owned this arm up. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The reason for so little experience on the body is because my DK and Priest died at the same time during the 3rd body. I went solo for a while as others took the open spots. Then finally this spot opened up. There were also CBs. |

I have a buddy that plays maple..... He is a level 50 Fp wizard and most people have told him he should start to get the skill "slow."
But he was wondering if and why it would be a bad idea to max poison brace first...... His exact words were, "Dude, I would rather poison **** and watch it die and **** than make it move slow and ****." Can anyone help? |

Slow = awesome when maxed. Combined with the 3rd job skill seal, it's even more amazing. Slow can also be used on the boss Papulatus. And it helps amazingly.
Poison Brace when maxed is pretty ****ty. Plus it becomes obsolete in 3rd job because of the amazing Poison Mist skill. |

Getting Slow instead of Poison Brace will make the 60s hell, but in the end it's worth it to have Slow because it rocks so much ass. Note: This is coming from a 98 FP who suffered through not having poison brace in his 60s (then again, we didn't have Ludi at the time, I don't think, so there would've been no good things to use it on anyway). I still use Slow today and it makes my life much easier. I've never seen an 80+ FP mage use brace.
Speaking of FP skills, I've been thinking about the whole Zakum thing. SO WE HAVE MY SKILL BUILD FOR THE NEXT 17 LEVELS: 98 right now, Amp has 18 points in it. 102 I will have the last 12 points in amp, maxing it. 105 I will put 9 points into Seal, halfway maxing it (65% success + 15 duration = good) 115 I will max comp and be ready(ish) for Zakum I do Seal halfway before comp because as far as normal training goes, Seal helps a ****ton while comp won't make much of a difference. And Jason said I'd need to be nearly 120 to get into a ZParty anyway, so why get Compo right away? I hate having to recast Seal so much now, and the short ass duration sucks. Especially if we were to get higher level monsters for me to Mist to death between now and me hitting 115, Seal will help a ton. But yeah, now I just have to make my way to 4th job. I'm gonna just stick to Ludi for now and I'll be open to partying at duals (I'm told it's good exp but I don't see how), grims, or vikings (my last choice, but it's still faster than solo). So if you see me on and you're a party person, invite me to party with you and I will tear it up. =)

Did a few PQ... Lots of EXP but also lots of ****ty items like pots and stuff. Got a blue napoleon though.. Probably going to NPC it since I don't really give a damn about selling it.

I can't quote, edit, etc. because I have pictures turned off with this crappy modem, but I think Afro said that JMS and GMS can be installed at the same time. Well, they can. However, I don't know about GMS and SEA, even if they're installed in different folders :/ Technically, it SHOULD work, but I'm pretty sure I installed them into different folders and it didn't for some reason.
As for training, some fire mage(a rather high levelled one) saw me at Grupins and told me that I should be at White Pangs. I guess I could give it a shot. |

Verr, it doesn't get better until about level 80 or so when you can go to MDTs.
Just putting it out there. |

Man training is so annoying on a level 57 fighter on Bellocan... On top of that I've got to either get a fairly good scrolled lion's fang which probably isn't cheap, switch to a neocara and 60% scroll that for lvls 6X then switch back to 2H at 70, or buy a sparta which is way too expensive (like 16-18 mil last time I bothered checking) for 6X.
But what I'm getting at is where should I train? I don't like FoG at all so thats not something I'm wanting to hear... |

Great. I'm 100 and like 10%. Been there for a while now. I'm off of work for a few days though, so I should be 101 before too long. Please catch up or pass me. It sucks being ahead because I lose motivation much easier. Ahh well... I still need to catch up to Bonk.
