Personally I don't rate a game from it's graphics. I liked Final Fantasy VII's plot.

Ya, I didn't really understand how they could have block arms and hands.... And wtf, Cloud never had an earring. I've beaten FF7 too many times and can basically walk you through the entire thing. I bet Robby could too, seeing how that's all we talked about when we first started talking on msn. Sephiroth looks like a mix between Marilyn Manson and Avril Lavigne.

The amnesia bit was trippy with the whole Zack thing, I liked it. But it got really annoying with the whole Cloud's a fucking crack addict and wanders around in his mind. I wish I had a wheelchair.... Then I could act retarded like he did... I love the part about the weapons, climbin the glacier, fightin that double headed dragon monster thing (which was hella easy), seein the "real" Sephiroth, the world goin all crazy and shit WOOP WOOP! Played that game so much, I beat it for the first time almost 7 years ago.

Oh ya, and this is old news, I watched the trailer for it like, in october last year.

Moogy, you really do not have any taste if you think FF7 was terrible. Graphics, I can understand 'cause we all love the CG scenes in every FF game, but that shouldn't matter. I played VIII before VII and I still loved VII despite the midgety figures running around even smaller areas, the plot rocked and I liked the materia system a lot.

And yeah, I saw the trailer for Advent Children back in November, Sephiroth looks like a goth J-rocker (Not too nice) and the details for the look they gave Cloud are pretty good. I heard the movie's only supposed to be an hour long though, makes you wonder how much material they're going to put in it. o.o

If you read into it the thin, pale man depicted in the trailer is NOT Sephiroth..he is some new antagonist that apparently has some link to Sephiroth (hence the scene when he kisses the hand of the mysterious person in the white cloak and Sephiroth's face in fire appears). The movie looks amazing, I have to start playing FFVII again so I can beat it before the movie comes out.

I remember playing FF7. At the time I was a complete idiot and I didnt know what I was doing. The only words that I knew during battles were "Attack" and "Summon" and that was it. When the very first boss (or subboss, whatever) came out, I didnt know how to not attack it thus I never really got far in the game, thus I have always had a thing for not liking any FF games, even though I could probably beat the game now.

It's true that Golden Sun was much better graphically than FF7, but FF7 is still hailed as the best game ever. I don't get this. FF7 was like 4 discs or so long, and it can't compare to a tiny 4gb cartridge? Personally, I think Golden Sun was a much better game than FF7. I'd still "see" (download) Advent Children because it's a really good looking movie.
