Default Quest 64

Anyone remember Quest 64? I loved that game... It was my first RPG.

Never finished it though. But I got very far. Can't remember anything specific from the game since it's been about 8 years since I've played it last.

I have recently placed a bid on a copy of the game on eBay and hope to be playing it again within the next week.

Here are some screenshots of the game if it'll jog any of your memories:

Tugz I think I love you now.

I haven't seen screenshots for this game in 10 years. I played it when I was like 4-7 or something and I loved it, but could never get past the robber in the woods in the very beginning.

Quest 64 was great.

Lol, I know exactly what part of the game you are talking about.
It was a very fun game and that was a little bit of a tough part, but after playing the game for a while, I learned how to fight a little better. I can't wait to get the game and finally beat it. I think I was 8 when I played it...

Ah, the memories. *sighs*

All I remember is starting off in a castle walking around collecting bread from chests, then walking outside down a mountain, and some stuff happens leading me to fight the robber in the woods.

Omg, I forgot about the beads.
I have so many memories of this game. After you beat the robber, you can go to a king and he lets you into his secret chamber behind his throne filled with all kinds of good items. I also remember traveling to so many towns.
Finding little spirits everywhere and turning them into magic attacks.
I remember if you went to the barn outside of the starting castle, there was a spirit in a hey stack.

Zomg, I can't wait to get the game... I might even go get it from Game Stop before the auction on eBay ends.

I got it for my birthday when I was in 6th grade or so. I got to the point where you are on the final level. You can't go back for anything and the Final boss is (or was) rediculously hard. I could never actually beat him though.

That sucks. I have a question, and I can't remember since I haven't played the game in over 8 years.
Do you have to have a memory pack, or does that game save on the actual cartridge?

If I remember correctly you need a game pack because I believe my brother and I always had to start over when we died at the robber. Although I could be wrong. All I remember is that we always had to start over after dieing at the robber.

Ok, I will go pick up a game pack anyways, pretty cheap at Game Stop.
Thanks.

I rented that game from Hollywood Video years ago... I remember I got to a place with dragons then had to return the game.

I should go buy it, too. That was a good game.

Oh man I played this game when I was pretty young.

But I didn't have a memory pack back then so I kept having to start over.

Thanks, I'll pick one up next time I go by Game Stop. I need to get a new PS2 anyways.

i beat it on a rental. had to keep it an extra day before i brought it back. then i liked it so much i bought it. the only bull**** thing was, they advertised that you could ride a horse, but then when you got to the horse, you couldn't ride it! also the game becomes VERY acid trippy towards the end (they warp the beginning levels, and a lot of crazy twists)

I would love that! It would be way easier to use my Wii controller than the old N64 controller.

I'd use mah Wii points for it. ^_^

Oh yes that would be awesome.

I also remember playing this game when I was like 7 and I always died in the woods, it took me forever to get past that part. But sadly I never beat the game either. I lost the game a long time ago along with a bunch of other games for my N64.

THE GAMES WERE STOLEN! I STOLE 'EM! AND I'M NOT GIVING THEM BACK!

Hmm, yes that first part of the woods where you fight the robber is quite hard.

I remember this game... I too rented it when I was younger, and I was going to buy it, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Then in the beginning of summer last year, I found a sale at Hollywood Video: "Buy 3 used games, $5 each." I never bought a used game until then, but when I saw Quest 64 there I had a moment of nostalgia and had to buy it. Since it was over $15 for the game alone, it was worth it just to pick two other games up. I would have liked Bomberman Hero 2, but they didn't have it. I ended up getting Starfox and Gauntlet Legends.

Back to Quest 64 though... so far I got the fourth elemental gem, and am wandering through some desert place. I don't remember getting this far on my rental years ago, but my sister told me that we beat the game. I think she's lying.
