no one has said that humans and apes are the same in fact i stated that they are seperate species. however the dna of humans and apes are so close and fossils of species that have features of both humans and apes have been discoved and the time period is far enough back that genetic mutations given the right currcumstances almost definitly caused the common ansestor to divergently evolve (think of it as many many mutations that happend to make a human)

There is a star somewhere in the universe once called Kolob. It's the closest thing that's physical to heaven. One day on Kolob is equal to 1,000 days here on earth (because of the whole time-stretching thing which we won't get into right now). THEREFORE, since God is telling the story of Genesis, and since Kolob is the closest measurable thing to heaven, it's safe to say that it took at LEAST 7,000 years for the universe to be made.

Make sense now?
