I don't understand, based on my knowledge of the way the human body works, how someone is unable to enjoy sex.

Well, I don't think it's appropriate to tell her how she feels.

I just want to understand why.

The only reasons I can think of are that it's painful (a la vaginismus), she has prior unwanted sexual encounters that have scarred her, or he's doin it rong.

Possibilities:

- That someone just personally doesn't enjoy sex. (Much how you wouldn't like the taste of a certain food.)
- That someone's partner is doing it wrong, maybe in a painful way.
- That someone feels their own body is so inadequate that sex isn't enjoyable for them.
- That someone is doing it wrong.
- That someone has unusually shaped sexual organs, which may cause sex to hurt or be uncomfortable.

You didn't "choose" to lose your virginity? As in, you were raped?

If you were raped, you are free to still call yourself a virgin. I did.

The only time it matters (when you have to tell somebody that you had an unwanted partner) is like to test for diseases and such. And I would tell any partner that I was going to have sex with, that I'm a virgin but I had been violated and as such, I have a higher risk for having a disease than a normal virgin would.

Well, I don't mean to sound crude, but it probably is at least part, or most, of the reason why you "don't like sex".

I know it's mean, but you have to get over it. Sex is enjoyable and is a normal and healthy part of adult relationships. Not like you HAVE to have sex, nobody's forcing you and you should never do it unless you want to...

Also, I would never pull out of school due to being raped. That would just be proving that the rapists win. To me. The most crushing blow you can leave your enemies with, is your own personal success. To see you rise above them... they hate that.

hmm...well first of all the main reason i don't like sex is cuz it really doesn't do anything for me. it's like...nothing. i can't feel anything.
and the first person who did that to me...well he's long gone, and then the second guy that did it to me...well idno, but actually where i was at school wasn't safe. i had been scared for my life too many times out there. my life was threatened by a crack induced roomie. i had been drugged, raped, kidnapped...
and yea i kno what you're saying, and it's in the past
but were getting off topic here sorry :/
