Well, I haven't been able to find a usable version of Jupiter to download, so I'm just stepping Cold Breath, A Beautiful Wings, and Angelic Layer for now, and I'll just put what I'm stepping in my sig rather than posting here about it over and over from now on.

I am a decent simfile artist and I would like to make a simfile for FFR.

I was wondering if the following song is currently being worked on: Chrono Trigger Version 2.

I can make a very good version of this. I played this song the other day and I got a bunch of BS misses. My brother told me 'glitch arrows'...how the hell did Version 1 get into FFR? Anyways if you are currently working on it, please PM me to let me know.

I would like to work on it, but if someone already is, I won't complain.

Also, I'm assuming the "Still needs to be discussed"s are going to be included in the next update, correct?

Oh, so they will take multiple submissions? Alright, thanks for letting me know, that changes everything. I will work on it first thing tomorrow.

Yeah, they take multiple submissions, it's just that much harder to get it in the game then. Not only does your file have to be good enough to be accepted by the judges, but it also has to be better than someone else's.

Not a problem, I have been making simfiles for quite a while now, but now I will have someone to judge it! Any rules? I know no freezes or hands...anything else?

I'm revising my Chrono v2 file tomorrow. The only problem as far as I know was the file length.

As fast as you want, as long as it matches the song. However, I once remember Shash mentioning that files with lots of 16ths at 250 BPM or faster probably wouldn't be accepted due to the fact that it's so fast =P

You could try but it probably wouldn't get accepted, since that's pretty ridiculous even if it is all in sync.

Don't even bother submitting that. OMW is most 16th as 240 bpm, so this would be like OMW 1.5x rate, which would probably end up having two framers everywhere, even if it were just, say, a trill at that speed, it would be so fast, it would probably be loaded with two frame jacks, and the best score on the song would end up being like 120 goods or something. Not good.

It is a very fast song. I could try to make it at 180 BPM.

You can have 360 BPM, but not chock full of 16ths because it's too fast. Halving the BPM may make it slower, but you'd only be alowed 16ths because 32nds would still be the same speed, and jacks would be a big issue.

Sixteenth streams at 360 bpm is 32nd streams at 180 bpm, which is probably impossible.
