Afro, with the exception of 3 or 4 keys, that is incredibly similar to the way I use a cleric. All of the attacks are in the same position, minus the C key(oh, and the space bar). I'd replace the G with Teleport and move jump to space, but that's about it.

My key setting's are based on the default ones. I could probably get used to something different over time, but alt is jump and ctrl is attack. After that, it's logical to assume that shift should be an attack as well. Teleport on spacebar is an idea I took from a real life friend who reached 30 before me (rofl he quit at like 32), but I probably would have come up with it on my own.

As for sit: I got my chair. More than enough for me. Also, I only have messenger bind'd so I can sit down, bring up messenger, then alt tab out and remain sitting.

JMS is gay for the reason that it shares keys. Thus when I login, I have to change the key settings all around to my own. -_-; Even harder when I don't know what the **** says. At least I know where the default positions go to easily know what the key is.

Mine for the hermit, which I've posted numerous times before. Oh and whoever designed the default key settings should be shot. They are horrible. Thank god console games always seem to have good default settings that can often be tweaked slightly.



/\ I keep finding that screenshot when people talk about key configs on SW. They always post mine to show others, say how nice it is, and how they are switching/switched to a similar config.

Chris: You could just hit enter and alt+tab out without worries. Also, the chair key alone won't let you rapidly sit/stand. If you hit you alternate between the chair key and the sit key you'll sit then stand then sit then stand, which is cool stuff. If not for that I'd have sit unbound, but I keep it next to the chair key for rapid air-humps.

And really, I hate how MS limits how you can set the keys. There shouldn't even be any limitations on keysettings if you ask me. Maybe give you a warning at most, like if you try to bind something to the windows key it should tell you that it's not the best idea or something. And maybe you wouldn't be able to bind to your media controls (who would do such a thing, rofl) because it just shows the standard keyboard setup. But blatently not letting you use certain keys for no reason? Lame ass. That's why people use Joy2Key. -___-

And Jason, I'm not gonna lie, I would hate using your key settings. I easier to reach up two rows than down one for me, and I hate having buffs and such near my attacks (closest thing in my current setup is MG (~) to Mist (Q), and they're both rarer casts and it's still not even that close).

Banditcom's keys are also nearly the exact same as those used by me. I might switch around D and F, but that's about it.

I really hate how I can't move the Screenshot key to something else. My laptop's key is a secondary thing that can only be pressed along with the Function key, which is annoying to do in MS, and on top of that it sometimes randomly decides it doesn't want to take screencaps anymore.

Oooh, I have the same issue with mine. Scroll Lock works, yes, but it will 50% of the time not take screenshots. That's when I'm forced to Prt Scrn and paste the screenie in Paint, thus taking lots of precious time.

Oni: About 90% sure it's safe. I unverify after I log in and get **** transferred over. Then I transfer stuff back off. Annoying yes. But not nearly as annoying as it would be if I lost all my ****. Also I'll contact a friend and have him talk to a GM to get you unbanned as well.

Okay, works for me. =P I suppose it shouldn't be too bad considering you can leave trival things such as pots and sub-par equips on the account and just transfer the useful ones, which is probably what I will do. That's awesome, I want my priesty back. >=D

Since when? A cheap plastic card is just as open to sales tax as anything else sold in a store.
