And booooooo no 4th job in JMS. ;__; They added maps though, looks like more World Tour (floating market is from Thai MS I believe) and maybe more in Korean Folk Town? Or maybe the "jungle" maps are connected to the floating market. *shrug* Doesn't look like they've added the newest area, with veggie monsters and pirates. D=

If they have maintenance, the entire game does go down. This happens every time they perform any kind of maintenance. It's not like they can just change stuff while people are ingame. That'd cause all sorts of weird crap, anyway.

Tosh, they do Cash Shop alterations without shutting the main game off sometimes. There'll be a little banner at the top saying you can't go in the CS until it's done and I guess if you try to go in you get DCed or maybe it just says it's unavailable. I dunno, I've never tried going in during maintenance, but I know it happens sometimes.

I'm pretty sure the cash shop is an entirely different thing from the game, kind of like a website within a game(well, not a website, but you know what I mean). If it isn't, it must be possible to trick the game into giving you items for free with use of hacks, so it'd make sense for them to make a separate thing. I really don't know what I'm saying in terms of the cash shop in MS, but I'm just saying this is how most cash shops work. Most of them are kind of like external things thrown in the game.

Well as it is you could probably make a client-side hack that shows up cash stuff on your screen (which really is one of the only reasons to have cash items, and it'd be hard to ban for client-side doesn't-affect-the-game hacks), but generating them would be another story (and people can't/don't even generate regular items). I was just saying, he said it was an item maintenance or whatever, and he thought it wouldn't kick him out, and you said it'd have to, so I was just clarifying.

Unfortunately, the tutorial that I found online doesn't work anymore. I could try and make an account for you. But yes, you need the Japanese language pack. Start=>Control Panel=>Regional Language settings=>Japanese. I think you need your Windows CD in order to get the files, or try and find them online somewhere. You can download the game at the jms website.

Yeah I could try and set up an account for you but then I have to find a postal address and blehh. I'll try when I'm not so tired and I'm not so busy. And to be honest, I'm sure other people would be more helpful since I cannot read very much kanji and my kana skills suck. I'm better at speaking then reading/writing because I never actually formally learned, just stuff I picked up from my family.
