No it does not. It's all about taking into context what you are watching and making use of it. You would be a Narutard is you went like this:

This would be from a Contemporary: I find Bleach a rather interesting anime due to its character development and fast pace action. The fillers however tend to drag-on quite a bit despite its stellar showing in the manga.

See the difference? Being mature about what you're watching and not going all GAIA makes the difference.

umm u know what? if u come like that bringing those things up belive me NONE cares just dont come please ull make this forum a lil better place ^^.

and back to the subject yeahhhhhhhhhh it would be awesome place to read the emotions and girls would be better well at least i liked those tipes of girls (from the animes) before i started to see them, but in the anime they r cuter and their inocence and simphaty is multiplied xP, and it would be funnier like when they r mad or afraid and their face changes is so fcking funny xD

Not all anime is bandwagon. Fcking Naruto is. That crap sucks. I saw one episode and i felt like 30 minutes of my life had been stolen from me. I dont see whats so great about it. Stuff like Big O and Cowboy Bebop is good though, due to a good story, nice effects, and some production value.

And suddenly live in an apartment and have an office job despite never having gone to college.

Maybe I might also randomly find a cute boy on the beach (Beach? What beach? This is Central Connecticut!) who can only say one word, so I take him home and keep him. Of course, this is barely possible in real life, and even if it did happen, I would be much busier than depicted in Chobits or Elfen Lied, and he would eventually be found by the landlord or the FBI anyway.

Hmm... I must be being autistic. I'd really be happy if life were anime, that way rules could be bent a lot more easily.

When you think about it, anime characters get away with a lot of things you couldn't in real life.

For example, at the beginning of Fruits Basket, Tohru lives in a TENT, on someone else's property, underage. I don't think she could pull this off in real life, and (little later in the story), she most definitely wouldn't be allowed to live with unmarried men her age.

This is coming from a member who's been a member for less than a month. I'm assuming you're very young because of da wai u tipe n stuf.

I don't understand what you guys see in anime. I don't see anything special about it. I'd rather watch Looney Toons, and I'd get better enjoyment out of the show. If people walked around with pink hair and ^_^ ...idk how someone could enjoy that. Kids don't even act like that, nor would they ever actually act like that. This is why I said to wake up and stop dreaming of a world where people all ran around like this japanese style of animation.
