EB, I've never played a Bandit, a Spearman, a Fire Mage, an Ice Mage, a Hunter, or a Page. I guarantee it'd take about 10 minutes to fully master each one.

Having one character is enough to teach you tricks about another. I learned jump-shooting on my crossbowman from my Priest. I learned how and when to PKB from playing a Fighter in beta. Everything else was pretty much discovered from playing it. HOWEVER! I didn't even play it until it was level 35. And I'm still did just fine.

Yeah, there may be a VERY minimal amount of skill to play this, but there's a very minimal amount of skill needed to do nearly everything in life, so therefore it is disregarded. Of course there are better ways to do things, like there are in everything. Hell, turning on a light with a switch is more efficient than turning it on from the lamp itself, but does that make it a skill? Of course not. Is it knowledge which may not be blatantly obvious to someone who has never used a light or electricity in general before? Of course it is.

It actually might be a little harder to play 3rd job characters. I admit, some classes are relatively easy, but others it does take some degree of skill to play well.

Like all warriors are easy **** until you get to 3rd job. I think DK's take the least skill to play, because you don't really worry about avoiding damage, cause you're gonna take it anyway. But when you have a WK, you plan your charge blows so that you can control things while killing others. I think saders would be hard as hell, because 1. the don't KB consistently most of the time 2. They have imperfect stun and 3. Once they release their finisher it's back to low non-KB damage. I saw a vid of a higher level sader using his whole skill book essentially, roaring at pirates to stun a mob on the left, charging 5 orbs while killing on the right, releasing coma to stun what's left on the right, going back to the left and roaring + charge + coma to finish them, coming back to the right (where the pirates were still stunned) charging orbs and finishing it with coma. Killed about 8 duals, without taking a single hit. That's hard as **** to do.

Still, using 7 skills or so isnt very difficult, an hour or two would definitely be enough to use the skills very well; maybe not perfect like that sader but its still not very hard to be pretty decent.

Well, if we have Private Servers with 1,000x experience, we'll soon find out how hard it is to use a character you have no experience in using.

Try playing a ranger. Try playing a hermit. It's hard as hell. I tried my friend's hermit and it was HARD AS HELL. Seriously. I sucked... I couldn't get drain down and I couldn't control FJ very easily. Jumpshooting is a lot different and a lot... more challenging. Back jumpshooting and dodging as a hermit is much harder then it looks, I have to admit. Rangers are not easy either. Have you played one Tosh/Squeek? I'm sure Noah can speak on this part. Placing puppet in smart places, rain, inferno, luring, bomb. jump shooting, getting the right equips to use at certain places (I have speed, jump, and dex equips that I change to a LOT). Don't say that doesn't take skill. Fire mages have to telecast constantly to dodge and it is a lot harder then it looks, especially on bigger things. Ice mages have to make sure to deal with KB later on to avoid damage (ie. facing different directions, spear, seal, etc.) Add in elements of 4th job and that takes even more patience and skill. Even preists need some form of skill (SRing in between heals, dispel, responsibility in boss fights, etc.) Sure you may be able to LEARN how to do it semi-effecitvely but you won't master it for a long long time. I am still not perfect at using puppet, and I've had it for almost 15 levels.

And, I haven't been able to play any form of maple for a long time because of a lot of schoolwork. I've been really busy with family and friends too so I should be able to get playing again in a week or two. Add HotAsIce on Sakura server if you play JMS. He's level.. 17 I think. Soon to be Ice/Lit mage. Yeeeeeeeee

Oh and Tosh, if you are going to neglect to read anyone's posts, you don't have to POST about it. It makes you look even more ignorant. It's just a blatant slap in the face. And if you can say you honestly don't care what people think of you on the forums, don't even become defensive. Being defensive means you care about your reputation or some other personal reason, which means you DO care about what others think of you. So cut the crap. I was fine with you but it's getting to the point where I can't really tolerate it anymore. And I don't care if you read this whole thing actually because I really doubt you will. Go ahead and post about it and just prove my point.

How could I? Like 1/25 people on Scania are archers, and an even smaller percent were hunters. And nobody is willing to share accounts.

I only played my account and my friends' accounts. They had 4x accounts, so I didn't get much. One had a 4x spearman, the other was a 4x page.

And it's not like anyone has the patience to make 13 level 70 characters. And it's not like level 70 is even an accurate depiction of the third job. Try level 100. Only one person I know is dedicated enough to level THREE CHARACTERS to 120. And he's on his fourth.

Every single server I've ever seen had rates around 30x.

But yeah, if you can make your own server, let's do something around 100x. Don't make it FAR too easy, considering we'll want to play for more than a day or two before quitting.

That's a rule.

Anyways, the flaming has to stop on in the game, on all sides. I was just flamed by Tee for coming on and saying "so it looks like I have to lay some rules down for you kids". When people flame over this kind of stuff, yes, it has got to stop. Derek called Tee a dumb bitch, which is wrong. Chris (Hevi) calls people an asshole or to shut the **** up a lot. Stop. Everyone flames each other. We're all at fault, including me.

If we give each other a hard time, like I did with the "kids", make sure they know it's only giving them a hard time. I was at fault for that tonight for not making it very clear that I was only giving a hard time, which is the reason why I said sorry. I realized "okay maybe I was wrong and didn't make it clear, so I'll apologize for it". I listened to your side, explained that I only meant it in jest, and apologized for not being clear that I was. I didn't apologize for the comment because it wasn't meant as bad, only that I didn't make it clear that it was a joke. See, I admit when I'm wrong or when I could be wrong in a different viewpoint. That's a good thing. It's better than flaming back and it shows I understand and am listening to your side.

Jason, the flaming won't stop. Yes, it could stop sooner or later, but then, once it stops, some friggin idiot will come and say "dud sum gai di-famd meh, di-fam/repot ploxzor's, or i well hax yur acont lololroflzors"., or something like that, and flaming will start up again.

I'm not taking sides or anything, but it's pretty much a thought compared to the fact that there's alot of flaming going on. That's yet another reason why I left the Xqsite guild; I was ****ing tired of "some dud di-famd me", or "guid meber di-famd meh, kik plox". It was too annoying.

But you DO have a point, Jason. The flaming has to stop. It's getting out of control. I'm surprised Synth/LD/Tass/random mod/random admin hasn't banned anyone yet. Seriously. T_T

Most of the time when people flame you over you build, their probably sick of people not listening to advice and then quitting their characters. Probably sucks the most right now, cause half of the people are temp-banned, and the guild is boring.

Example with your situation: we helped you out a lot when you asked questions or for help, though sometimes you were flamed. But you kept doing the things that people discussed with you (discussed not flamed). That was your fault for not listening to what everyone was discussing with you about. Eventually the discussions with you stopped and the flaming was in full force. You probably should have been kicked long before you left because you wouldn't listen to the guild's issues with you. Lots of wrongs on both your end and the rest of our end. Though, I have no problems with you and if you ever wanted back in, you're welcome back. Just as long as you listen to people when they discuss their problems with you.

Some people actually really flame and fall back on "teh funneh". Some people are only joking. Some people aren't at all.

Real flaming has got to stop.
Joke flaming has to be more clear.

Both are issues as seen by today. Derek called Tiana a bitch. Real flaming. I came on and called the guild kids. Joke flaming that wasn't clear that it was (in Tiana's eyes). It doesn't matter that I meant it as a joke flame. She saw it as a real one. So I apologized.


I'm only trying to fix the guild and make it a better place to be. Ugh... I get bitched at for a ****ty guild. Then I get bitched at for trying to fix it.

I'm so glad I stuck with my JesusFreaks guild. We're always on the uprise and everyone's always kind to one another. We don't flame....we joke...and I'm the only one who uses sarcasm in my jokes like FFR does. You're all too dramatic over these things that hardly effect you. They effect someone else...but hardly you....and yet you still get your nose in it...but hey whatever I'm not in the guild so I don't really know. It just seems that these arguments come far too frequently.
