Original episodes were good. Not the best thing on tv but better than what they have on nowadays. (and that includes the new episodes) Still watch it, but there has to be nothing else on that I prefer to watch more. I know its a kids show but I think it is WAY too innocent.

i agree. i seriously think that the old pokemon shows were awesome.. but these new ones are just a little too .. not so good.

For some reason, I'm into a Pokemon revival phase...I still see the occasional new episodes; they're ok.
In the latest season, the voice actors have changed (noticed that Ash has a deeper voice?). They don't have the same tone of voice as the old VAs. After 8 seasons of hearing the same VAs, it's quite noticeable, and I think that's why some people are turned off. And of course, most of the stuff in the episodes are predictable. (Why can't Ash and co. recognize a disguised Jessie and James yet?!) |

I watch the shows and play the games, I've even seen the movies. The only thing that I can say is bad about Pokemon nowadays, is all the pokemon and Ash's voice has changed. The pokemon are too hard to keep up with. The character of Ash just isn't the same without the kidish voice we've learned to love.(those of us who watch it) The games are exciting though, they always are. Getting 16 gym badges instead of the original 8 was a good idea but it took a long time. After gold and silver I stopped playing the games but I still watch the show almost always. I honestly hope that pokemon never dies, but when and if it does, I will be weeping.
