Correct, though you severly underestimated his chances with this method!

Fred puts one white ball in one and the rest in the other. There are 2 bowls, so his total chances are (1 + 49/99)/2 = 75%(approx).

Still need some answers to the 1st two! Quick recap:

1) I have no beginning. I have no end. I have no middle. What am I?
2) What are the next 2 numbers in this sequence?
0,1,8,11,69,88,101, ... , ...
