![]() It's to bad my school does not have it. The stock market is the pulse of the economy, and richer than any gold mine....

![]() I remeber doing this in high school. I thought it was pretty fun. I go to do it twice, one for Money and Banking, and the other for a Finance class. I believe the top prize was a trip to New York or something. Some group in my class won that.

![]() I'm starting this tomorrow. We barely even get graded on money, we just need 35+ transactions in 3 weeks.

![]() Did it
There was like a 650% increase in China Auto's stock price. A group invested most of their money in that group as a joke. Guess who won. |

![]() Well another thing to take into interest is that you should leave your money in whatever you invested in. The NUMBER ONE mistake is that people take out their money too quickly. In the end result, never make any money.

![]() We were just given ten thousand bucks to invest in any three companies. I invested in pharmaceuticals and D.R. Horton homes and made a nice chunk of change, around 100% profit.
But my friend invested in stocks whose tickers spelled a word. EASY, HARD, and PLUS, all penny stocks. PLUS tanked very soon, HARD did all right, but EASY made him well over a hundred grand, about 1170% profit. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

![]() I remember doing this. I did pretty well, but I agree it wasn't that fun.
Then again it's simulating a job, and work is often not fun. Apparently some kid a few years ago tried Enron right before it died...
