The anime is a direct take from the manga.

How can it be better or worse.

ps tsug, I personally don't have problems with downloading, but some people do. That's why I posted it.

I've only seen the dubbed version. Its ok though some of things annoy me. But, I know enough about anime though to know the original is way better. As Ryan said, our friend Kevin has all the books for it so I could get deeper in the series if I read those.

In the Anime, it never really explained why Sanji smokes but it's almost not important anymore.

I love being a mod. Then I can delete posts that are a complete waste of time.

Insulting a show without even seeing it and comparing it to another show you've never seen. And double posting...twice. Great way to make a worthwhile discussion.

Try reading the rules next time.

In other news, I've been re-watching the series again. Saw 30 episodes yesterday. It's such an awesome series.

I actually picked up on one thing I never noticed before, but I've forgotten it now. Eh.

I'm already up to episode 62 again.

I haven't got round to watching more yet. I've been busy. Although. I'm making noodles. I shall sit down and watch some now while I eat. Episode 34 I think.

I've mentioned this before but I'll mention it again.

The One Piece you see on Cartoon Network or whatever English broadcasting station airs it in your area is not One Piece.

It's called "4kids' bastardized One Piece happy hour / 2"

Therefore, there's no way you could have "missed" one piece. The only means by which you can watch One Piece are all through a computer.

I have failed to stay diligent. It gives me an excuse to rewatch the series.

Spoilers:
If anyone was curious about Sanji's cigerette, it was something he started to prove he was a man, not some little kid.

In other news, I'm gonna capture the good faces. These ones suck. Also, I'll capture Dalton's "THERE IS NO CURE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY" line. It was perfect.

You think I don't know that? Ah come on.... give me more credit than that. Of course I know that crap I'm watching shouldn't even be called One Piece. I was ACTUALLY complaining just because I actually missed a Saturday night of cartoons... a tradition I've never broken.

I'm going to be pedantic here and say "But, Squeek, you can watch it on Japanese TV, too!"

Anyway, I honestly cannot fathom how anyone could watch a series longer than 100 episodes. Let alone keep following it to episode 300. Let alone REWATCH THE ENTIRE THING.

I've been being bugged to download Monster, which is 74 episodes, and I'm (kind of) dreading even watching that much. And One Piece is more than three times that long.

I'm sure it's a good show and all, but with something that long, it's going to end up incredibly boring no matter what.

I mean, Jesus Christ, 300 episodes. Not even I have the patience to watch that many.

Obviously it's not boring or I wouldn't be re-watching it again and again.

I didn't mention Japanese TV since you really can't choose what episode to see there. Then again, you can't choose what you see here, but they only have ~100 episodes of incredibly over-edited trash here.

Moogy, you're missing out on a lot of good stuff if you limit yourself to length. Besides, its length and popularity are a good indication that even with this many episodes, it hasn't lost its flair. It's still one of the most-watched / read show/manga in Japan.

Just watch it in chunks. No chunk of the show is longer than Eureka Seven.

Saw another 15 episodes yesterday and about to get a bunch more today. I love this part of the show <3

it's funny, monster is good but one piece goes by a lot faster than monster does.

One Piece is the one exception in a billion. Don't let length stop you from watching this show. I mean, you've probably seen many, many anime and your show count is probably over one-thousand. This is probably small compared to the amount you've watched.
