In rhythm games, play density does not equal skill. From experience I can tell everyone that someone who plays only once in between sleeps will improve just as fast (if not faster) than someone who plays 10 or more times in between sleeps.
That and never playing the same song in the same day. Non-believers try it for your self: play the same density that you normally do and record how much you improve DP% wise daily. Then start getting good sleep and play once a week while recording your weekly improvement for DP%. In most cases, you'll find that your weekly DP% improvement is similar to 5-8X your daily improvements. Now, of course you could look at it as a logarithmic improvement to be fully accurate, but you don't need to worry about that. ![]()

haha thanks. and yeah about what tehwhack said, the fastest way to improve is playing as much as possible on a wide variety of songs.

a wide variety of hard songs. songs you have to focus and read so you're mind can learn to speed up if its called for.

the best way to improve is to do like the hardest song you can think of that you may like. Do it about 100 times learn the patterns how to speed up in certain spots and where to accually look on you're screen to get the fastest reaction time. For sombody at you're skill level i suggest doing a song like {Frozen} when it comes out. It has some easy parts but mostly all 123jack123jack really fast, kinda like silence.

your going about it all wrong! trust me i couldnt FC easy - standerd when i started, but i played difficult - very difficult songs anyways. Untill i could FC them!
The best thing ive found for improvement is play the hard songs that you can ALMOST fc like with 5-10 misses and play over and over again. Thats what im doing with strangeprogram, ive cut my misses down to around 3-6 and im almost there!!!!!

Congratulations on the 10 bil club.. But you really should be better than you are. I've got 1900 plays and I'm probably a bit better than you. [I'd like to test that theory in MP, though!]
Edit: Forget that, I played the songs you posted and wasn't way behind, but didn't beat them.

I beat that score. By the way, overall FFR rank doesn't prove anything like Shashakiro said ion the first page (or whoever said it) but congratulations on getting 10 billion, I guess.

I did better than all of you!
I had a bit of a trouble with the combo, since I had to borrow the four from elsewhere, and there were picture quality differences. But you lose =P |
