What about a mouseover based version... Where you just point at onscreen arrows instead of clicking them. Granted, that would be a somewhat drastic change (it'd end up playing like a combination of FFR and Spinitup), but you could still use the same patterns for songs...

or you know just plug in a USB keyboard (same works with ps3 and xb0x360 if they had a browser)
Xbox 360 represent edit: i forgot to mention the Wii browser sucks lol

The problem with the D-Pad is the jumps. You could do Up-Left, Up-Right, etc. but not Up-Down or Left-Right.

If it's not too confusing, you could just make it so A or B is the "jump button," so for up-down you just hit up-B, or for left-right you just hit left-A. Just a thought.
I still vote for an all-mouse version, because the whole point of using the wii is to use the wii remote, otherwise why not just use a computer. |

A USB Keyboard will not work in the Wii.
Also, a mouse over version wont be good for fast songs. |

I played FFR on the Wii...The only things I could pass are the first 3 Dance category songs.

I think this is a great idea, in fact i was about to start a topic but then i saw this one. I cant do FFR online on my computer cause its too slow. >.< So if it worked for Wii, that would rule..
But falcondude is right, Up-Down and Left-Right wouldn't work, Wii needs to be able to use USB keyboards in the final version for it to work. |

Hey! I think i found a site that might help make a FFR version for Wii.
Check this Synth: http://www.bolinfest.com/wii/ or: http://wiinintendo.net/2006/12/27/wi...r-flash-games/ http://www.quasimondo.com/flashwiimote.php http://www.quasimondo.com/archives/000638.php Last edited by FourTails; 04-2-2007 at 09:07 PM.. |
