just bought GH2 for my brother for christmas... hopefully he'll let me play it with him. dont' think he's every played any beat game before in his life. and i've never played GH.

From the looks of some of the Jordan 5* vids I've seen, I don't think anyone has ever passed it without SP...even the 5* vids use SP around the beginning of the second (of four) consecutive 16th sections.

I wish I had this game, because it's really fun. Someday I'll get it =(

I used it star power near the end of the first 16th stream. I wasn't critically low in health, but I was in the red, and my guitar tends to be really unresponsive to tilting when you drastically need it fast. Finished the solo with flashing red health. Comboed up to the next 16th section and then just used star power at the start of it because I didn't want to risk anything.

p.s. The bridge part with the plucking is so fun.

The gigantic solo about halfway through the song is the only part that contains 16ths (~230 BPM to boot). The other, not as hard part nearer the end is 12ths.

Can't you hit the select button to activate star power?

It was confirmed by GameSpot that Guitar Hero II would be ported to "all significant consoles" in early spring 2007. Speculation is that enhanced Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will be released simultaneously with a separate Wii release.
