I'm pretty sure everyone here has different opinions on what's "good"... what matters is what you think is good or not.

It would be pretty hard to get an opinion on how good of a player you are, because if you asked a newbie they'd probably say you're good but if you asked someone more experienced, they might say you aren't.

Take a stroll through the FFR Scores thread.

That has all different people's opinons of "good" in it, from Balloon Fever AAA's to Super Mario SDGs.

It's all subjective.

An AAA of Mario is better.
An AAA of Secret Zombie Room is even better.
An AAA of Breaking the Common is good.
An AAA of Stalled out and Sushi Bars is above good.
Get an AAA of CIA Rave or something harder and people will notice.

I think this is much more accurate than the other one. I'm right at good, which is where I place myself.

That's decent, but not "good," I'd say.

Refer to the thread regarding the difficulty ratings for every song. If you can start AAAing 60s and above, I'd say you're "good."

n00b = FC 0.5 rated song
newb = AAA 0.5
beginner = AAA 1.0 (Computer Dreams)
rookie = AAA 1.5 (Spontaneous Hydroxide)
novice = AAA 2.0 (Bubbleman Stage Theme)
amateur = AAA 2.5 (Alpha Helix)
advanced = AAA 3.0 (Metalman Goes Clubbing)
veteran = AAA 3.5 (Noir Remixed)
expert = AAA 4.0 (Maple Leaf Rag)
master = AAA 4.5 (Z)
elite = AAA 5.0+
legend = Tier Insane or Tier 1
cheater = FC Chrono Trigger

Well, for a low level player, the first goal on your way to being good is to be able to not worry about failing songs. If a new song pops up, you should be thinking about what score you are going to get, NEVER that you hope you can just pass. That is the first step.
