I heard that on an episode of Batman: the Animated Series but it's probably not true. It certainly isn't true for me. There are a number of occasions were I've read in my dreams.

Dude, jumping super high is one of the best feelings in the world. It is SOOOO awesome. You can also change gravity to be like 100 times as big, and its CRAZY!!

F*CK THAT!!! I had one CRAZY ass dream. I was not lucid dreaming yet. All that I remember is my mom started torturing me. She pulled out a Razor and started peeling the skin off my legs. Blood was everywhere. I was freaking out and couldn't wake myself up. I finally snapped into lucid dreaming and tried to punch her, but I ACTUALLY swung and hit a freakin wall, waking myself up. Them pills are crazy as hell. It was so vivid, I could actually feel the effing pain.

I've been following this thread from the beginning, and I just now remembered this:

about 2-3 months ago I was dreaming, and in my dream I was listening to (of all things) Lawn Wake IV. To any of you who know the song, there's the part in the beginning with just bass and the background ambient noise. The bass was all messed up, and I was like wtf, am I dreaming?

And the more and more I thought about it, the closer I came to waking up, until I was like 'I HAVE to be dreaming' and then I woke up.

Just thought I'd share.

So you're saying you looped the song and then fell asleep while still listening to it?

Shade I can relate to that.
I've never Lucid Dreamed before, but I've gotten very very close, to the point where I could control everything, but I had no idea I was dreaming...yeah.

Anyways, I had a nightmare recently, and it freaked me out when I woke up because during the dream, one of my fingers on my hand started to bend past a point to where I started to feel extreme pain, like my finger was about to break. When I woke up, my thumb felt like I almost broke it, and it was in extreme pain.

Also, another dream I had, I got stuck in some box and started to freak out, and started to punch the walls trying to get out. Eventually, I wanted out so bad that my brain woke up mid dream and made me actually throw a punch in Real Life. I hit my wall...and it didn't feel too good considering I threw the hardest punch I could. Felt like I broke my hand for a second.

Anyways, yeah I've never had a full on lucid dream, but I have had quite a few vivid dreams. Lucid Dreaming does interest me though, and it's all this topic's fault .

Okay, I'm getting into lucid dreaming.

I started last night, and wow, only my first try and I got a pretty vivid dream. Not lucid, but vivid. I'll keep logs of them or something. Maybe that'll somehow help.

I used a more short-term version of the WBTB technique, and I also focused my mind on lucid dreaming and remembering the dream before falling asleep at 11:45pm. My alarm went off at 5:59am, went back to bed for another 10 minutes, and that's how I got that vivid dream. Boy, and I can definitely say that a lot happens in ten minutes. I got down two pages of writing on the dream and I can recall lots of details 8)

I can also slightly recall the dream I had before my alarm went off, but not much, just as if it was a normal dream (which I don't have much of).

Updates later, although I doubt anyone cares =)

Oh, something happened to me like that, except there was no dream. I just woke up and my right pinky finger hurt a lot. It was pink and REALLY painful. Well, I went back to bed somehow and I awoke with a huge blister. I got it from rubbing my pinky along a desk, writing for two hours straight... anyway, that sucker was huge. I popped it with a pencil and there's still a scar there, and this happened 3 years ago. I could probably make it go away with microdermabrasion, though.

This happens to me at least once a week. I read about it somewhere and decided I was going try it.

Id like to stay updated Carbo.

I got really close to a lucid dream last night. I did the hand rubbing thing and started to get lucid, but i got excited and was afraid that i would wake up, so i just stopped attempting it and went back to normal dreaming.

Ok, anything with "radiate" can't be good for you. Lol.

Thats interesting, melatonin is a hormone that has something to do with sleep, damn it I can't remember exactly what now, surely someone on here knows, but that may be the key ingredient
