Not once in all the probably 50+ times I've called fake on a music game score has it EVER been due to jealousy. I know people are better than me (especially at Guitar Hero, which I've played a grand total of once), and have no problem with that. I'm calling it fake because I think it's fake. He had no reason whatsoever to play it in Practice Mode, especially if he can expect to get 90+% on the song (and therefore have an essentially zero chance of failing it with the aid of SP).

What does that have to do with speeding up the video, which is what I'm almost certain he did?

It's not sped up. When you slow down a song the drums get very loud.

Also the fretboard would shake faster if he sped it up when me misses notes.

You can just change how loud the low range is.
It's entirely possible to speed up/slow down a video without altering the audio AT ALL.

That, on the other hand, is true. I can't decide if it's fake or not and frankly I don't care. It's cool either way; how many times do you get to see someone play a music game with a bucket on their head!

To play that song that well from memory is just rather unbelievable... And, again, there was NO reason to play it in practice mode.

I know this is kind of a bump.. and this thread has been dead, but did anyone else find it weird that the fixed cameras were able to change positions instantaneously?

In every shot you never see any other cameras, yet the angle changes constantly. That means several clips had to have been spliced together, each clip showing a different angle. Proof enough for me that this is fake.

just a real quick experiment that i ran.. i timed the start of the song to the finish of the song, and its a little over 10 seconds less than my guitar hero, and 3 others i've checked

the only thing that im still thinkin about is when the crazy fast solos are being played, when a note is hit, the next one is hit so fast the fire doesnt come up from the note, and no fire came up from da note. im prob thinkin too much, but i dunno

Is this still up for debate? The vid is obviously fake. OBVIOUSLY. How did no one notice there's no noise from him furiously clicking the strum bar? Yet, before and after the song, there's noise from him throwing his guitar and taking off the bucket. Just stupid.

You need to press the strum bar once in each stream of 16th notes, until you make a mistake or play the same note twice in a row.

He wouldn't be "furiously" strumming in any section.

uh you NEVER hear him strumming

also, the bridge is all 24ths and you need to strum at least 2/3 of them

anyway I was being pretty biased before I don't really know how videos and audio in videos and stuff work and my point of view is thrown by ignorance

either way, though, huge loser

HUGE loser

The bridge.. if that's the part I'm thinking of, you can play the whole thing with one strum.

I'm still agreeing that it's fake, and the fact that you can't hear him strumming at all may prove that the audio for Jordan was overlapped, but you still don't need to strum a whole lot during the song.

I used to fail it at like 57-60%, but now I can pass it.
And guys, he's using hyperspeed, which speeds up the scrolling on the fretboard. Using that is like using mods on like other rhythm games. Plus, he might be using HO/PO's on some tough sections, so it's definitely not fake.

nah, it's the part with 24ths that has two greens in a row and then a different fret button, meaning if you strum the minimal amount, you'll be strumming 8ths

But he's supposedly wearing a bucket on his head, right?

And how do you apply said hyperspeed mod?

That's definitely a given. Can you honestly pass this without using hammer-ons and pull-offs? Besides, to execute these, you need to strum on the first note. You don't hear him strumming at all, so I don't see where you're going with this.

Ok, this is what he did, and I'm surprised you don't see it.

He played it with a bucket off of his head in practice mode.

He put a bucket on his head and mashed somewhat close to what the song was doing.

He managed to cut out the perfect amounts on where he was cutting it to him with the bucket on his head, so it looked real.

So yeah, that's what he did.
