I liked the original ones for GB back in the day, Red + Blue were crazy fun. For some reason I really enjoy watching the shows still, Pokemon unlike Yu-Gi-Oh didn't get boring and get retardedly confusing and too much to keep up with. Pokemon is fun to watch every now and then when I get to catch an episode.

Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, and Silver were good. The rest were too much though.

I still like pokemon.... but I think the original 151 are the best (although the next generation pokemon games like silver/gold/crystal were pretty cool too). I've even tried to write a fanfiction about Mewtwo/Mew and Team Rocket but I never finished it. It's on fanfiction.net..... it's called Transformations....
Pokemon rocks! Yay............

Are they still adding a ****load with each new game? Gold and Silver was ok because the gameplay was ****ing awesome, but Ruby and Saphire was too much. They went back to the basics with Fire Red and Leaf Green, which were awesome (I'd venture to say that they're the best Pokemon games ever made), but I can't imagine Emerald being too great (never had a chance to even see it in action).

I was happy with the original Pokemon. I knew all of them by name and abilities. Then they started adding 2389458954789529 more Pokemon and I didn't know what the **** was going on. That is when I stopped buying the cards and the games all together. It lost its original flavor after that and I hate change.

Yeah, everyone seems to have it out for pokemon. We only own gold, silver, yellow, red, and blue. All were great games. I've played the Battle Collusium thing on the N64. The other Gameboy versions I've never played or even considered buying. I might buy the new ones though to see the change. Only bad thing in Pokemon is once you've beaten the gym leaders all you can do is stack up money, items, and catch all the pokemon. Asuming you've beaten the elite 4 a few hundred times.

Yeah, I didn't like how many Pokemon there were in Ruby and Sapphire. I beat both versions of the games multiple times and I still don't know half the Pokemon.

I always look at the Pokedex on the website and then later end up forgetting half of them. I'm eagerly awaiting Diamond/Pearl. Yes, you got us, we all still have a part of us that likes Pokemon.

Emerald is basically Ruby/Sapphire for ******s who want to get all the legendary pokemon in one game.

The originals were the best and are still the only Pokemon games I play.

I do love the originals a lot, but Gold and Silver just took a huge step in a great direction. Then it just went off and died off from there.

Stupid question, but after Gold and Silver, I got Ruby and Sapphire. Am I missing any? What's different about FireRed and LeafGreen?

Fire Red and Leaf Green are just basically Red and Blue, with enhanced graphics and some extra things added in.
