You know. DBZ did for anime what Final Fantasy VII did for RPG's. It brought a majority of the U.S. into Anime and, for that, everyone loves it. Somewhat off note, but there were plenty of well made role playing games made before FFVII that got some attention in North America. Examples being the Pokemon series.

I was trying to make a point about DBZ by using a very similar argument going on about Final Fantasy VII. The arguments about DBZ and FFVII are actually quite similar. Except its been desided that its no use saying that everyone should believe FFVII(DBZ) sucked because too many people are gonna believe its the best for the idea that it sucked to ever become widely believed. (Switch out FFVII with DBZ and you'll see what I'm trying to say, also I'm not saying FFVII sucked)

Actually, its a FACT that FFVII is what broke the ice and made RPG's popular in the U.S. The pokemon series showed up shortly afterwards.

one piece is most likely by far the stupidest anime ever... i only say mostly likely because.... I HAVENT SEEN THEM ALL!! sorry if i offened anyone say ing so but i had to speak my mind . sailor moon isnt that bad , it most likely seem s like it beacause you saw the dubbed version, the subtitled version was the best

Squeek will get upset from this mainly because he hates it when people say they hate one piece when they havn't even watched the entire show or watch the dubbed version. One Piece is a pretty good show I think.

Agreeing with cC@Zz. Squeek will kill you now. I myself haven't seen One Piece because I generally dislike shows with a setting in the past.

Because frankly, the translations of 95% of anime BASTARDIZE the show.

I've heard way too many people dissing duel masters on this thread...Are you kidding? Its a goddamn spoof anime! It's a spoof of lots of other animes and things that are everpresent in them. If you're going to watch duel masters without recognizing that, I don't know what you were thinking.

I still remember Night, a charcter in the show, saying "Pink is the New Black"
That almost kiled me. It was incredibly rich in humor.

By the way, One Piece is an incredible show....If you want to be even more convinced read the manga ^ ^

Inuyasha was a mediocre anime, but hardly the worst. I remember the episode where Inuyasha was sealed inside a hut because he had some terrible wounds and such. Very amusing episode

DBZ was also more than a bit mediocre but I personally thought that it was alright until after Frieza was defeated on Namek. After that it got terrible with all the stretchy scenes. I remember watching a whole episode where Goku is traveling across the land. Real exciting, eh? That's all the episode or was it episodes? about. It had him going to this place to meet with some bad guys.

DB GT....who the heck actually likes that piece of utter crap? I watched it alright, with that stupid,idiotic Pan always being so goddamn bossy it made me really angry just watching how stupid and bossy she was. All the other characters couldn't even teach that stupid piece of a character a lesson or give her the spanking she badly needed.

By the way, those of you who watched Gundoh Musashi, how was it really? I hear some extremely positive comments out there as well as exteremely negative comments. I've seen it touted as the worst anime ever in several other forums/lists as well.

The worst anime I've ever watched.... was the movie that was the first episode of M. of S. Haruhi or the Prince of Tennis OVA Nationals...I still shudder at Kikumaru's bout in episode 4
