He has already done so by posting a video of himself on youtube. He received no money and youtube fame doesn't go too far in life.

His modesty shows by saying he just wants to sit home and play...but with skills like that, he knows he's great and he had to show it off, which isn't a bad thing cause if you've got it flaunt it. There is a HUGE difference between the "fame" you get by posting a video on youtube and the fame you get while being in a major band. If you stood him next to one of the remaining Beatles, you can be damn sure that there would be FAR less people crowding around him asking for an autograph, a picture, or anything else people ask celebrities for. Guitar is simply a hobby for him. One that he is particularly good at. This doesn't mean he wants to be forced to play all the time or that he wants people to come up to him and suck his dick because he can play well.
