Well, now I see where the name comes from, seeing as already Existing "Chimera" in the game could take other humans and do another breeding process rather than directly infecting them.

I never really liked Big O. Probably because I saw it from the middle of the series, but it never really appealed to me.

Dragonball Z blows. I don't understand how, generally speaking, you FFR dudes could loathe Naruto but think DBZ is decent. What, just because it got you into Anime? -_-

I'm a mainstream Anime watcher due to the fact that I never feel like spending the 30 seconds it takes to find and download an Anime while I whore forums, so I just watch whatever dub is on television... so the worst to me is DBZ, not having seen anything worse.

Off topic, but if there was a "most overrated" award, I'd probably give it to either InuYasha or Trinity Blood.

Big O is great. It's like Batman meets Ghost in the Shell: SAC, but with giant ****ing robots (and it has more class and style than SAC... no, almost any Anime will ever have, mind you).

The show also features a boatload of fireballs, explosions, blood, crushed limbs, and every single person in the entire series looks jacked. Had it not been marketed as a kid's show, Dragonball Z would be so packed with testosterone that the very mention of it makes you grow another pair of balls.

Okay, but InuYasha is still pretty lame. I remember how I was going to watch my first episode thinking, "This will be fun!" and then being left disappointed with a massive " :/ ". Some of the characters just seemed to be added there for the sake of being there. Even reading some of the manga base material makes you go " :/ " because the characters still look boring and drawn just to look "cute" and the artist was just " :/ " while drawing it.

EDIT:
At least Trinity Blood looked sort of cool with blood and some priest who shoots guns akimbo. Still, I'd have to agree with you that it's extremely overrated. I'm not sure what Adult Swim was thinking by not picking up Desert Punk or Speed Grapher. Those shows seemed to have more mainstream appeal.

And Big-O wins for those style, even though for the most part I didn't get what was going on because I started watching only somewhere within the second season yet I still felt the urge to watch it.

Huh.......

Anyway. I said this in another thread. Me and a friend back in my school days used to go to a cafe after the final bell to drink coffee. One time there was DBZ on tv and it sort of became a habbit of going down the cafe after school for coffee and DBZ. I loved those days. Where does you psycho analyse come into this?

Well, you're judging an anime based on your past experiences with it, you know, back when you were young and didn't know better, and not fully on how totally not awesome it is.

So where's the insecurity? lmao.

Edit: DBZ is bad and I know it. Though I still love it.

I don't know. I too have lost the same love I had for DBZ as stated before, but its still awesome. Minus a few sagas, I had too much fun with that show.
