Mass Emailing Musical Artists

Lately I've been wanting to mass email a ton of musical artists (mostly Japanese), so we could ask for permission for their music. I waited a week or so, and looked around for some artists so I could get in contact with them, and today I acted.

I emailed the following people today:

onoken
Cranky
S.S.H (Saitama Saisyu Heiki)
Shiki
Silvia

I haven't gotten a reply from any of them yet, but I'm not expecting to see a reply for at least a day or two. Now here is where I'd like for you all to help. I want to know who's music you would like to see on FFR. Suggest some artists, and if possible, provide a link to their website. (Right now I'm only going for Japanese artists, so try to just suggest Japanese artists)

we do have one Cranky song already, so we must have contacted him/her/them already at some point.

Wouldn't we get too much rewash from SM files with using these artists for FFR? :/ Good luck, though.

Actually Shash, we have permission for all of the cranky music on his website. I'm emailing him for a COMPLETE blanket. He has music that isn't on that site, that's what I'm trying to get.

Yeah, I acted on one of my artists today too. Hopefully my other blanket permissions will get me their music soon so that we can get some stuff going. I should probably email a few other people on my list too. Unless you want to do it (since I'm lazy and I might not do it for a while)

i'd like to see boa (did the opening theme for serial experiments lain) and do as infinity who did fukai mori, one of the end themes for inuyasha.

I imagine that J-pop artists would be VERY HARD to get in contact with, and get permission for their music. I could try though.

Rebirth awsome job on keeping FFR fresh and going to the trouble of getting permison for songs, keep up the awsome work. Sorry I cant help I only know of one Jappenese artist which im 90% sure is outta reach.

In other news, I sent an email to DJ Tiesto for permission for his music yesterday. Should be hearing back from them today.

i dont know if you have heard of outsource DJ's, but i really like their music, and you can download their music for free off of tehir site so im assuming there is a high chance you guys would get permision from them.
