Change the zip code in the URL to yours. The rumors are true. 1/21.

Shows the same thing on itrackr.

There's a Target that has been "in stock" for nearly a month now. All of the other ones are quite effectively completely out of stock forever and always.

Kotaku has a story up stating that Best Buy is holding as many as 15 units per store for this Sunday, the 21st.

Direct linking is broken on their site right now.

Quote:
One of our favorite anonymous Best Buy tipsters lets us know that the big blue retailer will have a minimum of fifteen Wiis in stock at each brick and mortar location this Sunday, January 21st. He says we should, in reality, expect around 35-45 consoles at each store, but we suggest setting your expectations to the store minimum. The minimum store allocation will also be published alongside the weekly store ad, so this won't be a secret.
I still recommend almost every other store over Best Buy, particularly stores where electronics aren't the focus of sales (Toys 'R Us, Target, Wal-Mart).

I don't know, this Target thing has been touted for about three weeks now. I didn't know any other retailers besides them were going for a 21st release. This is gonna be like launch day all over again; there's still millions that want the Wii.

Sooo. Is it good. I'm going to exchange Call of Duty 3 for a game. I'm thinking Wario Ware.

Do what I suggested a few pages pack. Watch gameplay videos on Youtube. Figure it out for yourself.

Personally, I pre-ordered it the minute I saw the gameplay videos of the game in Japan. Looks awesome.

Wario Ware looks fun, but I'm wondering if I will get bored of it fast.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves epitomizes everything that the Wii is about: simple yet chaotic fun. Everything about this game is fun and hilarious. The only difficulty lies in getting the forms down; once you can get used to how things work, it becomes easy yet frantic joy.

So far, I've only done Wario's intro stage and Mona's stage, because I needed to pry myself away to play Phoenix Wright: Justice for All. But I digress. The forms are displayed briefly before each microgame is presented, but move no slower than the previous games in the series; it all flows perfectly. So far, I've experienced three forms: the remote control, the umbrella, and the handlebar. All are self-explanatory. I'm not going to spoil any of the microgames for you, though =)

Points go up whether you clear a microgame or not. If you manage to beat a boss stage, you are taken to a screen that declares, "Let's Pose!" which follows with a silhouette character posing with the "Form Baton" in a certain way, such as the "Cell Phone" or the "Ta-Da!".

This game is definitely a perfect party game. If you don't mind acting like an idiot in front of your friends (and you shouldn't; they're going to want to play too, and you can laugh at them), this should be the center of your next Wii party. I've never laughed, giggled, whatever at one game in such a short span of time (I played no longer than 30 minutes). This is definitely my favorite Wii game so far, and is a must-have for your Wii library.

What nforcer said.

The only problem I ended up facing in Smooth Moves was that on some of the microgames I found myself forgetting that I could move the Wiimote in 3D.

For example, on the "pick the nose" stage I lined up the finger with the nose and pressed A, when I was supposed to move the Wiimote forward. I was confused for a second, but then I was like "oh wait lol". <_<

Still, great game. Second Opinion is still my favorite Wii game so far, but Smooth Moves is definitely a close second.

My brother's wiimotes stopped responding. All they do is blink now and nothing shows up on the TV.

Anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

Try removing the batteries and putting them back in. Also, try re-synching the remotes.

Ducky, I've had this problem. Simply re-syncing doesn't work because the Wii and the Wiimote do not exchange a signal at all.

Unplug the Wii and press the power to discharge it. Do the same thing for the Wiimotes, the "plugging in" being the batteries. Now, put everything back into place. Because the syncing information is stored on memory in the Wiimote, everything should be fine. Worked for me, should work for you.
