FFR helped me with DDR a ton.
I used to have issues reading DDR on 1x speed. Now I can read pretty much anything in the game, I'm just limited by physical ability. Just to clarify, do any of you use the note arrow on DDR? I know you can on any machine and most home versions. It's almost exactly the same as FFR.

It could just be your physical ability. |

Well I bet could read the arrows easily. It just doesn't help "foot", eye coordination. But the main question was Does FFR enhance DDR skills?, I don't think FFR helps physcal abilities either.

I guess that's the only thing you need to practice then. DDR is way harder than FFR simply because people are limited to the amount of arrows they can hit within a certain time period, and because unlike FFR, you have two legs.
Well. Unless you play index, FFR is almost just as hard as DDR xD |

Every since I have played FFr, I've been able to complete songs I could not have before. I'm standard at max on DDr/PUMP
I can read notes faster, hence able to place my feet faster. Managed turkey march on pump >..> 2X too. |

It might make you better at things like quick reaction time and maybe even MA or PA but if your just a fat guy who eats nachos all day than FFR is probobly worse.

Nothing.
|
FFR increases your ability in EVERYTHING, play enough FFR and your reaction time will be SO GOOD that you can catch bullets in your mouth.
Try it. |

Obviously, playing a lot of FFR will make you easily read any DDR rhythm. If you play FFR index style, you will be pretty good at DDR your first try. The only thing would be the difficulty of translating hand timing to foot timing and getting used to the positions of the arrows on the ground.
If you never play index, expecting to have mad DDR skills immediately would not be very wise, though. |
