how do you get the stepmania menu back?
I puit it on free-play and now I can't change my settings and the judging is way too easy.
Great scores though, and turn on Marvelous

It also helps to turn on Event mode. It won't take you to the main menu every three games if you do that.

Another way to get the menu back if you're in that situation is to hold F3 at the start and push key 1 to change it from free to home.

Quick tip: go through ALL of the options, that is the first thing I did. You can find some pretty nifty things there, such as setting it so the arrows are in the middle of the screen rather than the left side, or making it so you get unlimited games (Hint: turn "event mode" on).

Secondly, get some speed mods, playing at 1x is insanely difficult, though if you like playing like that then all fairness to you.

Also, I don't know either score, I've AAA'd neomax on heavy (or oni, or whatever it has as the most difficult), never played standard. Never played the other file.

I also recommend downloading some keyboard packs.

Keyboard packs are just packs of simfiles that are made specifically for using your keyboard, rather than playing "pad" simfiles.
