I know, he had a chance to redeem himself and still blew it...
And then ANOTHER chance and it just didn't work |

True, even though I wasn't rooting for him. I'm still tripping over the last thirty minutes of the fiesta bowl. Statue of Liberty FTW

Re: I feel bad for romo D:
Being a Bengals fan, I have no sympathy for him. It was a terrible way to lose, but they had other chances to win other than that one play. Now all the Dallas fans can feel how we felt on week 16 and 17.
Great game though.

I imagine you weren't, but it was a very generous spot they gave him in the first place as it was fairly clear no meaningful part of him ever crossed the 1-yard line even in real time.

It was really funny when they showed the goal line cam on the far side of the field, because when the judge ran out to give the mark, he was staring right down the line of where the ball was, but when they showed the camera on the near side, he didn't have anything near a decent line of sight when the ball was at its most forward. They had every reason to review it, but I don't have to be happy about that fact. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

I know. I ****ing know. balalalalal. Well I'm hoping for a promising next year. ~-[L2D]-~ I can't blame it on him though, i mean christ, what was up with the play we got the safety on? And I didn't agree with some of those holding/pass interference calls.

Re: I feel bad for romo D:
The safety play was slightly his fault for throwing it so low to Glenn.
But the pass interference call that put them at a first and goal on the one was pretty lame. That ball was totally uncatchable. He was barely interfered with (which, I will concede, was enough to get a legitimate call), but even if he wasn't, there was no way he was getting to that pass. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Re: I feel bad for romo D:
Glenn caught it and maintained possesion of it. I agree if it were in a better position it would have been easier to secure it, but once he got it he should have secrued it rather than trying to make a play.
I'm not blaming either of them, I just don't feel we should have passed on that play. ~-[L2D]-~

Re: I feel bad for romo D:
You should have just gave them the touchdown and not the safety. Probably would have won that way. I don't remember if that was within 2 minutes though.
If Romo had run just a bit faster.... |

Re: I feel bad for romo D:
No, if Romo hadn't tried to set the ball back up after he dropped it. What the hell was that? Just RUN!
