Gonzo, I won't personally be hosting a server. My friend apparently has a dorm mate who loves Maple Story and loves hosting private servers. We'll see if we can work that.

If not, there are about 300 other up-and-coming private servers all waiting for the emulator to come out. All we have to do is find one we like and go there. Preferably a relatively empty one.

Bandit: Since there are no timestamps, I don't know for sure, but 3.6% at your level can't be bad. That's only like 33 solos for a levelup, which'll end up costing you millions and... nevermind.

Nope. I wanted to be but didn't have enough HP to take first form bump. Finally at this level, with 100%d Zakum Helm (50 hp), I do. 3240+ is enough with helm defense, I believe. Only one other hermit has solo'd Papulatus in Bera and that's RiceStrike. He's done it many many times, but then again has a nicely scrolled 60%d Zakum Helm for HP and used an HP cape. Plus I'm lower on the HP than like all hermits. :S l33tculprit has also solo'd but he used a gelt during most of it. Not sure if Shynobi has or not... I'm pretty sure he hasn't. Suuushi has on Scania.

Other classes have solo'd too.

With the money, NPC drops, and NPC potions, I lost about 400k doing it. Not a lot, but I gain money when I train. Also it took an hour and 25 minutes. I'll try Papulatus again with unagi instead of pops after I max bomb spawn. That'll be a lot cheaper. I could get the time down to an hour 10-15. Still, 1.566m in that long of a time is slow experience. BUT, it's much better than the 0 I would have gotten by not playing. XD

Have kinda gotten back into this. Started two characters on Bellocan since I'm not in the guild anymore =\

Started a new character on Bera (which is in the guild). It's already lvl 11, and it's going to be a sin. I got 2 sets of kumbi's and 1 set of tops for 300k, which I feel is a pretty damn sweet deal. Anyways, I have set up my build, which will consist of this:

Yep. I'm thinking up my 2nd job build too. And don't worry about me forgetting my cleric. Since this is going to be a sin, i'm gonna need my cleric to nourish my sin with annual 500k donations. I'm pretty much gonna concentrate on getting it to where both of my characters can keep themselves funded, without having to fund the other.

500k a year?

I think you mean 500k regularly. I made a BanditSin when I played and all I had to do was give it the 3 sets of Kumbis I had sitting in the inventory of my Cleric and it did fine all by himself. The saddest part, it was doing so well, it had well over 500k by the time he hit 30, far more than what my cleric had at the same level.

And you know, you don't have to fund your characters with other characters, they can do well by themselves without funding.

PS - Forgot to mention, my BanditSin paid back those 3 kumbis to my Cleric. They are still sitting in my Cleric's inventory I think.

Funded sins are the most amazing. Get a decent WG, some tobis, and keep it low dex, and you'll be rockin' the lower levels.

Why is everyone so sure that int adds to MP by so much? They act like if you miss out on a few points in int, you're missing out on like 1000 MP.

My level 23 AfrobeanHoly has 100 more int than level 27 Afroblood. Afroblood has 37 more int for 4 more levels. Notice also that AfrobeanHoly will increase the amount of int by 20 more by the time he is the same level as Afroblood.

Does it really appear that int is THAT important to MP growth? The most important things in MP growth as far as I see it are the skill maxed MP increase and luck (real luck, not the stat).

EDIT: ok, what ****bag kicked my beginner. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I'm laying off Afroblood for a while because level after level at pigs was starting to get boring as I don't get any stronger.
