Edit: Awesome. I heard that it was different and feared it was going to different in a bad way. I haven't been playing the mini games solely because I've been too busy with the single player modes of all four games I have.

Speaking of which, I got Pro status in all five sports yesterday. I still hate boxing.

Anyway, there is no wind in this one. Reason? It's hard enough going straight.

When you play the single player, you'll understand why these same levels on Gamecube would be considered easy or intermediate. You know how in some levels, all you had to do was hold the joystick all the way up? Well, try doing that now. Good luck getting the top speed and the correct angle.

By the way, Kotaku has a story up on Wii Play, the game that comes with a Wii Remote.

They said the game isn't even worth the $20 extra you pay (the game is $60 and remotes are $40). Since I already have an extra remote, I'll probably be holding off on this one.

PS - Since I now know how to work my camera thing, if there are any other videos anyone would like me to take, feel free to ask. I encourage it as it gives me something to do.

Well, after problems with the Bob Ross game Joy of Painting, the game at first seemed like it was going to die and we'd never get to paint with our wiimotes.

Then, a light at the end of the tunnel!

Personally, I see this as being one of the best games on this system. I'm so glad it's still in the works.

PS - seth, I hope you have a pre-order. England is not looking too good for people who want to wait outside stores.

The stores took too many preorders and they're not getting enough for normal sales.

That's why it's not looking good. Very few stores that didn't take preorders will actually have them.

Hmm... tomorrow morning is like 8 hours away from now, right? Pretty sure you guys are GMT+3 but maybe that was my old British buddy lying to me.

Harsh. I feel a little guilty now. It'll pass once I'm playing the Wii. I'm going to put it on the big TV in the lounge first. It's going to rock. It might have to stay there for a while as well as my room is going through changes at the moment. I realised that my family has been hiding from me how excited they are about me getting the Wii as well. Makes me laugh, like I'd give them a go XD

PS. I just noticed. I have a cat for my avatar. I also have a last FM thingy and a Quote in my sig. Remind you of anyone?

Edit: Squeek I think your 7 hours behind us I think. Im not sure though.

Believe me, they won't mind paying for more games once they realize it's a LOT of fun, because they might think "hey, if I buy it for him, I might get a chance to play 8)"

My family and cousins all played Wii Sports when we were all gathered at Thanksgiving. It was awesome.

Edit: apparently you guys get something about a STARS system that means nothing to us Americans. You're able to pay for Virtual Console games with STAR points.

You know what it means. We don't.

I like how everybody is different VC games. Like, we Americans get a raw deal with just about squat for VC.

Also, according to recent nexgenwars data, XBox360 is selling a bit faster than Wii. PS3 just isn't selling.

NexGenWars is not accurate whatsoever. The guy who made the site admitted to not knowing real sales numbers and instead opting for a program to just increase it by a certain number every few seconds.

Don't go by that. Most analysts say that real numbers won't be available until 2007.

I don't see why not. I loved the Gamecube Super Monkey Ball games for their single player modes. I can demo some of the gameplay for you if you'd like with my hand in the corner just like with the video for Seth, since most videos of games don't show hand movements.

Awesome idea. My Mum and Dad are playing Golf right now. I can hear them in the other room having a whale of a time. Im using this time to post now because I probably won't be post all day. I will be rinsing Red Steel dry XD. I sound quite calm but let me assure you, that's only because I can't find the word to express how hyper I am right now. I might get Wii play before Christmas for when the family comes over for dinner. We usually play a board game together or something. I think the Wii will do just fine.

I'm pretty sure the Stars system is just credits or something like that. I think we buy these cards worth so many stars and get a code from it that we put onto the Wii. We then use that (like you said) to by Virtual Console games. Something like that anyway.
