Pencil is by far my medium of choice, but really time consuming.

Ah, never got to like that stuff. It's all messy and hard to correct your errors.

Something made to express yourself. Something that comes from your state of mind, your thoughts, your feelings. If you're going to do random airbrushing, at least do it in a way that it makes sense and it transmits a message.

messages are only as they are interpreted. the true meaning is lost in translation. what if random airbrushing indicates a time of spontaneity in someones life? is that less "art," then, than a van gogh painting? what if it was intended to not make sense? is that not art?
we are all entiteld to our own opinions about what we like and whath we dont like. i for one dont like modern art. that doesnt change the fact that its still art. "real art." the talent/skill involved in the process of production does not make it any more or less of what it is.

Hmm, well I do agree, but most of the "art" posted on the forums are practically all the same, and their only goal is to serve as a background for a Stepmania song. That's like making a jingle for a department store.

the differences between your first drawing and the last make no sence at all, i can understand being able to undertake different styles but this is rediculous,
and it looks like THERES OTHER PEOPLES NAMES ON THEM, so before you go steal other peoples artwork you might want to check that
