Are the formatting buttons not defaulted to be turned on in the edit signature box? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Should I completely erase this guide in favor of one for this? Should I write up a guide for the new one? Should I just add a section in this guide for that one?

This new thing looks fantastic, but it doesn't seem to be as open for customization. I think I'll work out another guide for this new kind later or tomorrow or something. I just hope Synth doesn't take the older kind offline.
