If any one is having problems with Squeek's link then here's the Youtube link.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8u9Z...elated&search=

I was very impressed with the video. Very well thought out. Everything made sence and had no mistakes as far as I could tell. They mentioned that its speculation and how the new games can contadict there theory, however I think they've done very well to come to the conclusion they have. I don't really like the split timeline theory though (not saying its wrong, just saying that if it were up to me I'd keep things on one timeline), as much as it made sence I think if that were the case things could go very complex. It could also lead to other games that make other seperate time lines that then make other silly games. I hope they manage to tie up the two timelines somehow. Maybe the two timelines ending up as the same sorta conclusion, in turn making the two timelines one agian.

The non-Nintendo games have nothing to do with it. They are made of suck and fail. They aren't canon in any way. You can rank them among some of the worst games in existence.

That game made me wanna go play OoT.

I just finished. During the ending I was like "LOL HYRULE A!!11!1ONE11!1" and the same for Hyrule B. It puts a lot of things in perspective and I hadn't thought about this when I was like 8 >_<

So, to sum up your posts, you want them to include games that aren't part of the timeline into the timeline.

That's like saying you want to insert the formation of Australia into America's history.

At least there's a timeline for the metroid series.
If only I could find it again.

There are a few problems with their timeline (I watched the video). In the oracle games (I believe) you get the master sword at some point. This makes it impossible to place those games after LttP due to the fact that at the end of that game, it says the Master Sword sleeps again, forever. Another thing they got wrong was Link's Awakening. The instruction manual of that game says it comes directly after LttP. =X so their timeline is fine if you just switch around the order of those three games.

SPECULATION ABOUT TWILIGHT PRINCESS AHEAD

I've played up to the third temple, and I think this game will fit perfectly on the split timeline theory several hundred years before windwaker. If Mr. King of the Twilight ends up being Ganon, it would be a perfect way to explain how he escaped from being sealed in the gap between dimensions after Ocarina. Using the King of the Twilight as a puppet he could control things from beyond his dimension, then use some triforce wish to wish him out of that place. Then in the end if he's conveniently defeated in a way that leads into windwaker, i'll be satisfied.

In both Oracle games, you need to get someone to forge the Master Sword for you.

I think.

EDIT - WHOOPS, PAY NO ATTENTION TO MY ACTUAL POST

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
You actually do a trading type game to get a "Level 2" sword that shoots lazers.

I don't think you actually find a Master Sword.

Let's just say Fish is pretty close. I'm 21 hours into it, and am inside the 5th temple.

Fish, wait until you start needing shards. I believe the second shard is the one where you get to see everything clearly.

Then again, I'm not even done getting the three pieces from the first three temples because I've only been going to other people's houses and playing multiplayer games.

My problem is that the sword keeps moving. It's like LOST WOODS then TEMPLE OF TIME then like some other place I don't remember.

I want to know what happened to the sword in Hyrule B and how it can still be used if its wielder doesn't exist anymore.

Why couldn't it exist?

After link leaves, the sword doesn't leave with him.

Well, now I am searching for the shards. Just means more temples. Temples are fun, bosses are easy.

I doubt it will end directly going into windwaker. It wouldn't allow any games inbetween.

Also, it's supposed to fit into the B timeline correct? Well, in the beginning of windwaker if speaks of them awaiting the hero of time(which I assume is from Ocarina) and then him never coming. Does this mean after the end of twilight princess? Obviously there is a boy garbed in green attemping to save them. I don't really understand how it can fit.

For you debating the timeline: refer to my first post in this thread.

Most of the games are clearly not specifically linked. Trying to draw lines between the games will only leave you confused and upset.

It's not like when they made the original Legend of Zelda that they had a whole intricate storyline made up for a series of games to follow. They're just making things up as they go.
