You do realize That some of those "easier songs" have very few AAA's. Soasb for example only has 22 and most of those people (if not all) are already in a Tier. I realize that giving it a 10 good margin would be easy points. But consider adding AAA's on some of the above normal difficulty as maybe 1 or 2 points. Stuff above Breaking the common Etc..

I'd even go so far as to add some of the hard to AAA old songs as points... like TfB, Crystalis, SSSG, 136.6, Funking, LoZ, etc etc. Like 3 or 4 goods or less would get you 1 point, AAA would be 2 or 3.

I think we'll likely just get rid of the gaps and make every song that has, say, a 1 and a 6 have a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Also, you guys have to wait until we've established a ranking list using this system before you bash it. From what I've heard so far, no one has been placed in any tier where they don't belong.

Easy offbeats = no. If you're going to use those, you may as well just do average rank.

by the way the list is now, I have 95 +1 or 2, and I haven't played kick your A yet. Seems pretty accurate to me considering I'm right below tier 2 on the other list.

Also just a quick note, Runny you can only get points on this system if you FC it? Isn't that a little ridiculous?

That's kind of like what I said, where combo is really worth infinite, even though scottish tried to claim this avoids combo scoring. Stop trying to get Funk in G (It's NOT funking) added. It's very high on the list of lame boring easy songs that most players don't want to whore, but would need to to get the best average rank they can, so it would better to just use average rank than that, to save yourself all the trouble.

Runny Morning is perfect as is. The problem with instituting a combo based point system is the amount of
A) Mashing someone to do to reach it
B) The amount of goods
If we said,
(4) For reaching a 600 combo...
Then people could end up with scores that have over 150+ goods and 60+ boos, which really doesnt require much skill to do. If we were to say:
(4) For reaching a 600 combo or more, with less than 80 goods and 30 boos
That would be kind of specific. Someone who got a 550 combo with 22 goods and 2 boos could end up with a better score, and more impresive.
Combo scoring is just too up in the air, we would rather have a set amount of goods and such.

I am looking through the point list now. The problem with changing a few of those "seperated points" is that Shash and I went through each set of points (1's, 2's etc..) and they pretty much matched up. Changing some of them would require me to change them all. I'll see what I can do.

I don't see the problem with adding in, say, an extra 4 when there's a 3 and a 5 but no 4. If there are scores that show a "3 skill" and a "5 skill" on a song, there's definitely a score that shows a "4 skill".
