Stirges,for me anyhow at my level,get my repotting done x.o im a 27 mage now,and i go there when im out of pots (they drop orange and blue pots alot.fwee) and i get about 50 of each in about a half hour.Now,I just have a question....

Where should a level 27 Mage train? o.o Either Ant tunnel, wild boar or pq but..any other good places?

If you were smart, you would know that it isn't % per kill or % per hit but rather, % per hour. If I went % per kill, I would probably be getting like 7% an hour at sharks or something really slow and stupid. However, gobies are extremely fast not because of the % per hit but the amount of gobies that are killed by my party in the shortest amount of time. You may say OH THEY HAVE SO LITTLE HP AND THEY GIVE SO MUCH EXP but you have to take into consideration it takes 8-11 hits to kill the houses, then 4 strafes each gobies or about 10 arrow rains to finish off the mob of 6. It doesn't sound efficient at all, but it is, and I can easily get 25% in an hour with a party, around 15% soloing. Stirges are much better then horny mushies simply because that 3 exp per monster is NEGLIGIBLE compared to the constant spawn. Stirges.

And flying monsters can be a major bitch to fight.

Hornies seem to be much better to me. Stirges hardly save enough money, you get plenty off Hornies.

Striges are also slower EXP and a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS to fight. As Afro said, most flying enemies that fly on multiple levels are a pain in the ass. Also, the platforms aren't even level with one another, they're just all over.

If you want to train, it's best to do it in an area where you can pretty much control where everything's able to go. If you can manipulate your enemies, you can train quickly. That's partially why I gain EXP so fast.

Things aren't terribly complicated if you slow down and think about them. I'm not saying that to you specifically, either. I've realized some amazing things in some games just by slowing down and thinking about it instead of going by what everyone else says all of the time. Then again, it's good to listen to others if you aren't very experienced in the matter, because otherwise, you may do something that's been proven to work poorly by many people who thought the same way.

The only reason my "main" Bera character is a pure int is because I just thought it'd do lots more damage. I'd never seen another pure int before I made it, I think. It's finding stuff like this that can really give you an extra boost.

I don't know.. I leveled my fire mage in the 2x's at stirges in the subway because the spawn there is almost as fast as flyeyes. The platforms are even and it is easy to split the map with one other person, even party there. You can easily level in an hour at 2x.. and that is extremely fast. Just experiment and see what happens then.

I decided to head back to victoria today and do some unfinished quests that annoyed me. First off: sauna quest. I got my blue sauna robe - but in the process of getting the 50 evil eye tails I decided to do the 99 evil eye quest.

I killed 99 and got 50 tails in around the same time. And my prize from the rememberer was a 60% STAFF scroll. I was pissed. Good news is that even though I'm dead broke - I managed to trade my 60% staff for a 60% wand - even though the staff scroll costs more, I was desperate.

Better news is: it worked =D! Kinda bummed 1 scroll failed - I was really hoping for a 90 m attk, +7 int ET but I guess the chances of that happening was slim to none >_>



Also, I tried buying pig heads from lower levels are pig beach for the Ming Ming quest to get the band -_- and these people are selling them for 10k each.. wtf!?! It was only like 500 mesos each when I was that level.

-_- And don't ask why I haven't done these quests yet, Im lazy XD Im gonna sell my sauna robe and make some money -_- I only have 100k and owe my friend 2mil since he loaned me it for a scroll.

Better get back to coolies and grind to 70 or until I have some money.

Oh, I forgot about that. Back when I played at that level on my mage, they didn't have that. I was thinking about deep in ant tunnel where the platforms are all over and scattered.

Marlon.. Stop wasting your money. You buy the most useless stuff and then you complain about how poor you are. I don't understand how you can be so poor, being that you are a cleric and you dont' use ANY pots at all. If you were any other class, you would either be extremely frugal or extremely screwed up the ass in terms of money. At this rate, skip EWs and wait for a good DR, save up your money and don't buy anything else in the meantime... I mean, I use so much money on pots (about 1 mil every 30%) and I'm still doing fine with my funds.. what is your problem?

I went from 6 mil to 120k. O_o I've been poor ever since my ET was +2, I managed to get 2mil from my friend - and the other 2 scrolls I got because I got a 60% jump scroll and 60% staff scroll - so I never made any real money.

I never complain about my money. I know i'll get it back later. I was just stating how hard it is to actually make a living with 100k. I don't understand how scrolling a weapon is useless. Considering I am planning to SKIP EW and maybe DR for a phoenix wand.

Just cause i'm a cleric doesn't mean i'm rich. It may just mean I can make money a bit faster than other classes. And im not in scania - unlike your server - our economy in khaini is screwed up cause of hackers. All the mage stuff is way more expensive than any of the other classes - apart from throwing stars for thieves; so I think the fact that I make money faster is cancelled by the fact that mage stuff is more expensive.

Compare your 6million from your overall scroll to the price it is here in khaini. 10million. And I only make 1million on pure training in coolies per LEVEL. I never do quests; I have been doing them recently, which is why I was able to scroll my ET a bit futher.

The only reason im not completely screwed over is because I'm planning to skip my next equips and move on to the level 75+ stuff.

But im done with scrolling for now, and I will start saving. Only reason I wasn't making a profit was because I wasn't in coolies. I'm back to them now. So hopefully my money problem will get better.

Scania's economy is equally ****ed up as Khaini's. Supply and Demand plus the addition of hackers, it makes it insane. Zakum drops. I need a metus and it is going to cost me 65 mil for an AVERAGE one. Bow scrolls are up to 1.5 mil each almost and overall dex are 5 mil now. Inflation is hitting everyone hard, but that isn't an excuse for being poor. Being smart with your money is being smart with your money, you can't blame it on outside factors. And just because you plan to skip weapons doesn't mean you didn't splurge on your other equips (your dark anakamoon and your seraphis? cough cough...) My point is.. don't go on a rampage going OH LAWL IT SO HARD WITH 100k when it is your fault for being so careless...

Khaini > Scania, when it comes to inflation. Wand/Staff scrolls are 2mil and Int overall are 10mil each.

I agree it is my fault. But don't attack me saying im complaining too much. I resold my dark anakamoon for 800k giving me a 200k profit and I kept my +6 int one that I got for free. With the profit from the anakamoon and the loss of my mesos from my seraphis gives me a loss of only 50k.
