I've only rolled wolf once in my entire life and it was last game. And well, no, I pretended my partner didn't exist in my own head

it's a thing, sometimes called "wolf theater", and can be a good way to either manufacture consent by artificially steering a conversation a certain direction, or it can be used to create distance between two wolf partners

It probably isn't the most likely thing to expect, but not unheard of
