I am actually currently downloading Sea of Thieves to play with some friends so I will have to let you know how I like it, Noobies~ 90 GB download tho yikees!!

After playing for about 2.5 hours, I can say I like the game! So far it seems like fun to explore the islands and find different stuff. The inventory system is pretty clunky and there are some weird aspects to it, like the controls are pretty funky... but I can tell there's a lot to this game (there better be for 90 GB lol). I'm looking forward to seeing what else I find!!

I almost got eaten by a giant shark and went overboard when it bit the ship and flung me into the sea D: I'm scared of what other monsters are out there

Alrighty chumps, it's the second half of the first phase which means it's time to get this egg rolling.

As a new player, it's understandable if you don't know where to begin since there's zero info.

HOWEVER

We can generate content pretty easily and the best part is that it'll stick with us the entire game. Unfortunately the only way to go about it for the first day is purely using WiFoM (Wine in Front of Me). Or by good ol' meta, but that requires more of a knowledge-base of players in general.

What's WiFoM?

Basically you take someone's post and you question whether it was sincere or a means to look sincere. Like for any of the responses about video games from everyone. Was that just a ruse to let players feel comfortable or was the question a good cover to enter the thread naturally? Or... another example, MixMasterLar's vote? Was that him disguising a random vote to be appear he wants the game to get rolling or was that something to generate content for himself so HE can start jotting things down when we get more info?

Stuff like that, yeeeeeeeeeah.

it's definitely weird to start off the game with a random vote. like Charu said, there isn't that much information to go with from the very first day. although, it has been quite some time since MixMasterLar has voted for E-B-E and we haven't heard a response from E-B-E yet.

i'm looking forward to what both of these players have to say about this post...
