Another tag-team post by you two lovelies whenever someone questions the decision-making, one response is more than sufficient.

If this was an unofficial tournament it would be much different and I do stand by what I said... we had an OT 3 months ago. Call it 13.5 or whatever but this is clearly a project borne out of boredom and a way to give out free tokens. The latter detail being the main reason why myself and likely most of the other users are signing up.

Running haphazard official tourneys like this lessens the exclusivity of the event tokens and is a bit of a slight against the users who had to work hard to earn them.

If you have issues with it being a free token grab, stop being a gate-keeper. They're not meant to be that horribly exclusive. Just hard to get.

That said, Kayla and Aj run solid tourneys every time, and while I have harsh opinions on them, even I can't argue that without lying my ass off. It'll be fine. Hope the tourney goes well you two.

Glad to have ya! Do you mean like what difficulty range you'd be looking at? Otherwise, most of it should be answered for you in the main post. The short of it is a new song is chosen each week for each division, you play your song and get the best score you can until that round is over. All scores are automatically recorded into the dashboard.

Working my ass off on the simfile judgment underbelly to see if we can maybe get a nice set of new files ready for the tournament. Who knows, maybe I will get 100 or more judgments out before tournament start so we can have all new songs.

Not saying it will happen, but trying. Could be a situation where there just isn't suitable OT files because there isn't necessarily a specific OT batch for this.

If I can get to round 3 this time I'll be content. Just trying to see if I can show progress over the past few months at this point. Been 4 years since I've been able to get low D6 scores. XD

Oh. Yeah, I don't remember much of FFR BC (before crash) except for Megane De Ne! being my arch-rival due to kicking me out of 2 tournaments, and rolling around D2 with kmay, funmonkey54, and one other person; it was always the 4 of us competing against each other.
