Should I start to play GH?

I have a two-year experience from Stepmania/FFR now, and I thought to myself, that I could start playig Guitar Hero.

If anyone knows, please tell me, is it hard to learn to be good at GH, if you already are good at StepMania for example...

In retrospect, GH is nowhere near being like FFR. imo having stepmania/ffr experience wont really help you. I mean it isnt that hard until you get to having to hit all the rows but it still takes alot of practice.

Get an xbox guitar, get a dongle thing for PC if it's wireless, and download Clone Hero and download a bunch of packs from here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...01o/edit#gid=0

having experience playing rhythm games before makes it easier to pick up new ones, no? unless you're me. im d6 here and struggle to pass like, 8s on itg

it won't make a dramatic difference or anything though

If you do decide to play GH, clonehero is definitely the way to go. I've had a lot of fun on GH but it's definitely a different skillset than other VSRGs.

If you like rhythm games and rock music, it's totally worth it. Can get a little spendy. My favorite guitar was the one from GH5 because it only has one click strumming each way.
Edit: Haven't played it in a long time.

I recommend you to buy the wii les paul guitar, for me it's perfect

guitar hero is great dude i started playing clone hero ( with kb (((( ) a couple weeks ago and improved really fast so my sm/ett skill definitely transferred somewhat

First and foremost Guitar Hero is VERY hard on the hands and if you wanna get into it I would be careful. Skill doesn't really translate at all.

any rhythm game can be hard on the hands depending on how often you're playing it and what kind of songs/charts you're playing. i'd say if you're able to enjoy it and not easily hurt yourself then it could at least be worth looking into!

Everyone always talks about hand pain, and yet I haven't seen anyone post pics of them playing until their fingers bleed. Bunch of whiners I swear

how do you connect it to pc, just wondering? I have a few wii les pauls, i also have two explorers and a ps2 sg and adapter which is oof lag (wont even mention the rockband guitar, :sick: )

ive heard, well rather seen in like, acai and randy vids etc that the wii guitars are actually good, i dun wanna learn how to connect it id rather have someone say
