BanYa is one of the biggest groups behind the scenes in PIU

iamchris4life for being the best DDR player in the world

Shuey for his simfile museum and Foxfire for organizing it

Also Synth, Tass, Shash and the OG FFR dudes for obvious reasons

Edit: also DM Ashura and dukamok for being the first westerners since the advent of ITG to get into Konami
Edit 2: GD, Kommi, Stargroup, Malice, patashu, xiao and the others from kbo (and bx and rf) for keeping 6k and the rest of the community alive while FFR was gone and a double XP combo for GD who made that giant list of packs when there wasn't a big ass database like there is now
Edit 3: the guys behind DWI (SimWolf I think?); it made arch go in depth with scores and values to show us which game was better. For what its worth, DWI was the game I started with, so it should be on the list for me at least

I'm sorry did no body here say Rebirth0? What the devil guys that should have been obvious. Also Staian for that sweet showing at AGDQ.

As far as FFR staff goes, Aaron Auzin/Nestlekwik/dj Tatsujin did serious work in the early days and basically guided Spin it UP to it's popularity and is the reason that mess of a code is as good as it is.

First American DDR Champ in a Konami ran tournament was Chris Austin/Soul of Ignorance.

First DDR Champ at KAC when non Japanese where allowed to compete was Chris Chike/iamchris4lyfe

Youngest person to ever AAA Legend of Maxx (or most of the 10s) was Leon Brunson/Funsizetwix. He did LoM when he was 14 I think.

DDRStorm was the biggest tournament my side of the Mississippi River and it was ran by Joshua Campbell/Tyger who did serious work keeping the community together in my hone state. Most of us would have quit the scene years ago if not for him.

Love him or not, sherl0ck deserves his own chapter along with DJ Dao

Flash. I shouldn't need a reason.



As far as behind the scenes goes, remember that IIDX would not have gotten a home release past 3rd Style if my man Hideo Kojima hadn't stepped in to get 4th and 5th ported as their console producer.
