Challenge #76

Increase your "Max Combos" Over the course of the week -
Check the "More Stats" tab on your leaderboard to find this statistic. Take a screenshot at the beginning of the week, and one screenshot after you've reached the goal.


Tier 1: Increase Max Combos by 15,000
Tier 2: Increase Max Combos by 30,000
Tier 3: Increase Max Combos by 45,000

Bonus: Top three increase in Max Combos gain the following:
1st - 2 Arrows, a Pack Upgrade, and 2,000 Card Fragments
2nd - 2 Arrows and a Pack Upgrade
3rd - 1 Arrow and a Pack Upgrade

Token: Pass a song of at least 600 notes with at least 25% Misses and 25% Boos. These percentages are based off the total notes in the chart.

This challenge ends 8/6/2017 at 11:59 P.M.

I'm not even sure when max combos started to be tracked nor which songs that stat has already tracked.

Hakulyte has 1828/1900 FCs with over 6 million "max combos", yet OWA with 1888/1900 FCs has under 1 million

?.?

Best bet is to probably just play a bunch of songs you haven't played in a really long time

It says in the screenshot, it started being tracked in April 2016. You don't need to extend your combos on your current scores, it will add you max combo from a song to that number when you complete any song, improvement or not, from what I understand.

If anyone has any technical issues with this challenge, let me know, I'm trying something new.

Yea, you can do the token pack by itself if you want. Also the approximately two hours this would take playing normal songs (less time for denser songs), doesn't have to be in a single day, it can be spread throughout the week.

I had never checked More Stats before. That's pretty interesting. Apparently I've played the second most FFR of anyone since they started tracking those additional stats lol.

Yes, but it's also to your advantage to play songs around your skill level.

I think when you FC a song, it takes the total number of notes from it and add it to that number. (haven't double checked non-FCs)
Stats tracking started April 17th 2016. (you can see that by clicking on more stats in leaderboards)

As far as I can tell it simply adds your "max combo" value from each game you play (whether FCed or not, whether completed or not). For example, if you had a max combo of 1000, 900, and 500 on the same song on three consecutive plays, you would add 2400 to the aggregate value.

basically set auto fail at 1 miss, play song, boom. that's what i do to get it up.
