Will there be sporadic new charts in this tournament?

I think that be neat to include. Like not all divisions get a new song for DF, but y'know, here and there.

Also... maybe in, idk. I'm like super rusty, but I did manage to somehow get to round 3 or something in the official like this too, lol.

This tourney will be based on raw score -- I will be taking your score without the combo bonus added in. This is a no elimination tournament. I will be totaling up all your scores from each round to determine a winner. Once started, I will have a link here to a spreadsheet where you will be able to see how you are doing against others in your division.

There's stuff that's going to be added over the weekend but nothing's really specifically laid out to be new for the tournament. Doing new song releases during each round can be really time consuming and I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up with that throughout right now.

I should probably note here for those unfamiliar with our engine. Our site is not R^3 native, it was created before the engine existed so our genres will not line up as expected for those using R^3. We had modified the legacy and velocity engines so that we could sort by difficulties for genres instead. So if you open either of those, you'll see your old genres are labeled things like 1-5 and 6-10. We also operate on a 50 point difficulty scale.

When using R^3 this is how the genres correlate with our difficulties

Dance = 1-5
Dance 2 = 6-10
Funk = 11-15
Arcade 16-20
Rock = 21-25
Classical = 26-30
Misc = 31-35
Secret = 36-40
purchased = 41-45
Token = 46-50
Hip-Hop = Stepwars
Skill Token = Misc

(I'm also currently working on cleaning up the engine as there's a lot of stuff all over from previous events, so don't be surprised if you see things being moved or removed)

Ah yes, nostalgia back to when I was competing in D4 during the site crash. I won't be winning any prizes since I'm bottom of the bucket D7, but it will be fun to participate!
