Yeah I can understand that. I just can't improve recently. I skill-spiked a little while back and now I just don't feel like I am getting better. Kinda just plateaued since then. But I am sure that I will get better without realizing it during the tournament.

I can confirm that it is possible to go from near the lowest in a division to placing pretty well. I played up from D2 to D3 last year and went from only having SDG's on songs in the 40's to placing 13th in D3 (long story why I didn't make top 8 that I don't feel like including lol). Like someone else said, this is an example of a lower division skill increase, but it's still very possible to skill boost within the duration of the tourney. Don't give up before it even starts.

So yeah I hope that I can play in D1 instead of D2... Looked through at the people in D2 and I am clearly going to get eliminated first round. Like I barely stand a chance against people in D1 >.>

You're solid D2 and can prob make it to at least round 3 or 4 without much issue

There are also non-submitters in the first couple rounds anyways for lower divisions which makes that part even easier

D1 is for people who are literally new to the game, you doing well + me coaching should mean don't worry
If you were in D1 you'd literally have no issues at all since you can do well on some rando 20s song and the vast majority of them would struggle to get a somewhat presentable score

In the 9th OT went from being placed in D1 (probably by accident) to immediate bump to D2 to boosting to D5 in a couple months
