I HATE Chipotle.

chipotle is overpriced bland mexican food.

i will eat chipotle if there are no other options and feel like i wasted money and be bored in the tastebuds, but it's not bad, it's just really really boring and definitely not good.

Cilantro is one of the few foods that I will absolutely refuse to eat. Some people genetically have a likening to it, while others will hate the taste (there's a scholarly article on this). I fall into the latter group. Cilantro is a common garnish in Chinese dishes and that just kills me. Cilantro is also present in many Mexican salsas, but I may be able to tolerate it if the cilantro isn't strong. Similarly, I also very much dislike coriander, which is basically the seed of cilantro. I know many people like it, but it's a nasty surprise when I bite into one that's in some of the steak seasoning mixes.



Also, I like white chocolate far more than dark chocolate.

so funny story, i'm another one of the "cilantro tastes really really bad to me" people, and i also like white chocolate more than dark chocolate.

but i actually really like coriander seed, and i still eat cilantro like once every month or two. sometimes i feel like it tastes a little bit less like what i would imagine detergent or bleach to taste like, and sometimes i can eat it without problems, and then other times it's like full on unpalatable again. it's really frustrating but i'm never giving up. most foods take 2-3 tries before you really enjoy them, so i'll just throw a few hundred tries at cilantro and see what happens.

the one thing i'm not really big on is candy. i mean i will have some candy a few times a year, but it's always like lil funsize things, never a whole candy bar. sweet things that arent cold are just kind of eh, unless it's something mildly sweet like cornbread. cornbread is my jam.

a tiny bit of butter??? I put at least 1 1/2 tbsp per potato. maybe add a little pepper, no salt because I use salted butter. why the fuck would you put ketchup on a potato? do you by any chance lick your toilet paper after you wipe?

Cilantro doesn't taste like soap to me, though many people compare the taste to that. I'd say it has its own unique taste that has no comparisons...it's just flat out ugly. Fresh cilantro is also strong in that once it's sitting on a pile of food, that food will also taste like cilantro, even with the sprig removed.
