isnt vertex beta 1.5 around 22 nps?

edit: unless my math is off somehow. says max nps on vertex 1x is 15, 15*1.5=22.5.

given the stream of vertex is 200 bpm, that's 200/60 for 3.333 bps, with stream at 4 notes per beat is about 13.33333 notes per second. That'd be streaming at 20 nps at 1.5. you'd need to bump up to 1.725 if you want 23 nps

Re: What NPS are you comfortable hitting?

either way, i seriously doubt a D4 can vertex beta at 1.5... 20 nps, 23 nps, they both fall under the category of "D4 shouldn't be able to do this" lol

edit: ooh, i know, have him try shitsubou on 1.1 or 1.2. that should be around the same thing, no? oh, journey and epilouge is a pretty good measurement of streaming capabilities.

Re: What NPS are you comfortable hitting?

the basic problem is that he doesn't know how to calculate NPS, and has no sense of what NPS he's at. given his scores, he can probably do like 14-15 nps stream, and jumpstream of like 12-13 nps. literally halve all of his original claims -> it looks like he thinks 8ths are 16ths and are calculating them that way or something dumb

Regarding my jumpstream calculations, that was actually more of the misunderstanding of the NPS chart reference. In this case, it was not stated clearly if it was just 4th and 8th note jumps in the chart, and no other notes affected the NPS, or not imo. As far as the strams (containing no jumps, hands, or quads) go, the 1st calculations was a result of calculating the definition of 1 second being longer. My current calculations of 21-23 NPS is under the assumption of short bursts (about 100 notes or less), not the comfort zone, which is about 14-17 NPS (The 17 NPS due to Purple 10g FC on regular rate). As far as skill goes, I still do not know if I am at D4 or D5 as the FFR leaderboards states that I am at high D4/borderline D5. I do truly apologize for any inconveniences.

Re: What NPS are you comfortable hitting?

100 notes at 23 nps is 25 measures of 345 bpm

that's still a good 4 seconds of streaming, and i doubt you can pull that off at all still lol

also purple is around 15 nps in its stream, not 17, since it's at 230 bpm.

reality is about 17 nps in its stream, and you have a 171-126-22-380-272 on it. you cannot say that you can sustain 17 nps at all lmfao

for stream: take BPM, then divide by 60. base is 4th notes so multiply by however many times greater your actual notes are than 4th notes. So if you have 240 BPM 16ths you take 240 / 60 * 4 = 16 NPS. multiply by 4 because 16th/4th = 4

I can hit 225-230 dense js comfortably (so 23 nps?), but I can get 85ish average dp on 250/260 js. I always thought I'm still shitnoob for being unable to 90+% brute force and call me it but seeing everyone posting mid teens nps is reassuring I'm not a complete noob.
