The only phase to ever worry about your vote is when it's LYLO: Lynch or Lose.

When town has only 1 or 2 more remaining members vs. wolves, and a mislynch would result in parity (AKA wolves equalling humans), that's when you don't vote unless you're super sure, or trying to pull an extremely risky move.

insta is always the majority of players. so when we had nine players, the majority was five. now we have 7 players, the majority is 4.

It's based on how many players are left. There are less players now so it takes less to insta.

Yes.
Insta occurs at <50% of the current player base.
Becvause there are 7 of us left, divide that by 2 = 3.5. Round that up to the nearest whole, and you have 4.
