As I am unfortunately not as active as I'd like to be on this site I asked for outside assistance in placing Mahou with people more knowledgeable than I about his recent performance etc. outside of FFR, and determined him to be D6.

May I ask who you talked to?

I would rather not divulge anyone, sufficed to say that most of them are avid SM players that have seen scores from you that would definitely qualify you to be D6. You also sounded confident yourself that you could be viable in the division. Again, it's very tough for me to go off of just the few SS's I've seen as well as your majorly inconsistent scores on FFR, but everyone I talked to would put you in D6 without question.

I'd be more than happy to have others comment on the placement as well. I really don't want to screw anyone/team over.

That's fine. I just didn't think I would be right in D6 considering I've been only a few days into getting acquainted with the fiffer engine. Plus I quit using my mech a few days ago.

Well I am glad you put thought into it and got reputable advice.
I'm not mad at all about that, in fact I'm glad you're running the tournament well.

Understandable, but people have to be placed based on their established skill level, not on how accustomed they are to different keyboards/engines/I haven't played in a long time etc. (hi krunky)

I think if you work at it you'll be just fine That CCCC is really nice, and after only a few days of acquaintance too. Round 1 is really just a warm-up anyway, so you've got over a week to prepare ~
