Isn't this a health hazard? Seems as though friction on a metal pad would cause blisters and small cuts. And now your blistered feet are stepping all over everyone's sweaty fungus aids blood

In that case I was in Indonesia and I wore sandals everywhere I went. In the funworld meetups I had with alloyus and awein999 I wore socks and shoes, but took off my shoes for most of the plays.

playing barefoot is an issue only if you're playing heel-toe on a pad with non-flat screws. If, instead you play on custom flat pads or you place the foot in the center of the arrow, you risk nothing. here in italy dance games get their peak during summer season as they are popular on seaside arcades. Most people only play on them barefoot after they've been to the seaside.
